      This company provided trash pick up service to me. I pay a quarterly amount for weekly service. In the July-September quarter they only picked up trash in July. They did not service my address on August 1,8,15 or 22. I called and canceled the service on the 22nd of August. CR&R picked up their cans on the 27th of August. I had previously made the quarterly payment and it was debited from my account. Since the date of cancellation I have made 6 calls requesting a refund of my unused portion of the fee, the remaining amount should be $107.58. Today I was told they would refund only the amount of *****. This is unacceptable. The customer service representative refused to forward my call to management. He said operations would call me.

      I responded to a CR&R mailing received 7/19/24 that said "New Senior Rates Now Available for Residents 65-Years and Older" by calling **************** at **************. The mailing advertised a 10% discount to the service rates charged single-family residential customers where the head of household is sixty-five years of age and above. I called on 7/23/24 and was told by ****, the **** that the mailing was a "mistake" and there is no 10% discount to seniors. In response, I said, "You cannot bait and switch a discount. You have to honor the mailing's 10% discount to seniors sixty-five years of age and above." When she repeated the "mistake" spiel, I advised her that I would be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint. This is the gist of my complaint: CR&R cannot send out a mailing advertising a 10% discount to seniors and renege on that discount. My monthly refuse assessment is $20.07 or $120.42 for the remainder of 2024. While the 10% of $12.04 is miniscule for 2024, it becomes more consequential in 2025. The 2025 assessment will be $240.84, with a savings of $24.08, providing the current rate continues.

      CC& R is a trash company I have used since 2006. A few years ago the truck hit my custom bricks and repaired them . Yet this year the driver hit my bricks at corner when picking up neighbors trash . After over 3 calls to company. and no response from supervisor as promised. They have ignored my request and raised my bill. They have records of this complaint and damage to my property and refuse to respond or correct this matter. This company also was involved in a massive fire that burned down homes in ******** and lives were lost. I believe they are hiring unsafe employees driving trash trucks and avoid damages they cause. They have raised prices and refuse to correct their damage

      CR&R sent me to collections for $118 charge that I don't owe. Company policy is to not send out a new trash container until the account is paid in full. I purchased several containers from CR&R for a job I was doing at my house in canyon lake. Once the job was complete and everything was paid in full CR&R came back saying i owed them $118 for extra weight on one of the first container they sent out. I explained to the representative that each container was paid in full before the next one was sent out per company policy. Till this day they can't explain what container this money is owed for, and why they would send out a new containers against company policy with a balanced owed on the previous one. They just state that I just owe them money. Account #******** I feel it's wrong that a company can send you to collections and ruin your credit based on there word. I spoke to ***** today and she said they would look into it with management, Called me back after an hour and said I owe it because it was the last bill sent out.

      CR&R has a history of inferior service. We pay for 3 days per week garbage pick-up and so far it's been 5 days since our last service. Monday was a holiday and the schedule pushes it back to Tuesday, but they did not service us on Tuesday. I called and was told they had until 6 PM to pick-up, but they never did. On Wednesday I called FOUR (4) times and was told they would pick up our trash by 5 PM, but they never came. This is not the 1st time for this as the same thing happened after the 4th of July this year. All the driver needs to do is enter that the account was serviced, and they assume it was. The garbage stinks, causes pestilence, attracts vermin, and wild animals, and is unsightly. I believe they are not only violating our civil rights, but are criminally negligent for leaving over 500 people in squalor and filth.This is unacceptable!!!

      Our company has two commercial trash bins that have not been serviced 4 of the last 5 days (7/24 - 7/28) they were scheduled, with the 5th being today (7/28) of possible non-service. We have two recycling bins that were supposed to be serviced on 7/25, but never were. I called in 7/25, 7/26, 7/27. I was told to wait until 6:30pm since that is the latest the drivers are out. We have a note on our account that our business closes at 5pm and we have a gate that encloses our parking areas, which is where the dumpsters are located. On 7/26 and 7/27 I spoke with ***** who was helpful and stated she was contacting dispatch to have a driver take care of our commercial bins that have not been serviced, the recycling bins which had not been serviced, and any overage before 5 on both days. We have had to send our driver to the dump multiple times to deal with the accumulated garbage. Our invoice for services 7/1/23 - 7/31/23 has been paid and the check has been cashed.

      I purchased a new home in **. I have not received new trash cans and recycling bins since I purchased this home only used and broken down bins. Now the recycling bin is cracked up and the wheels have fallen off. The trash man left the broken bin in the streets in front my residence. I called the ********** ** office and the headquarter office and no one will help. They keep say stating that they are short of help. They have told me that for a whole year. But, the city near me receives all of the proper services, I pay $70.96 for bad service. Please help me to receive the proper services. They told me that I would receive a new bin May 3, 2023 and I have not received anything as of today. Only rude customer service. I would like to receive new trash and recycle bins. I am a ** citizen and home owner.

      Over the course of the last three years of using CR&R, we have had mutiple instances of late waste services. The most recent and unacceptable was no service for green waste for the week of Jan *****st. I called at least twice to report that my service was missed, and yet no service was provided.I requested a credit on my next bill due to their failure to provide service; however, they denied it, stating that service was provided the day following our regular service day. I have my phone bill showing that I called after that day, refuting their claim of service (Why would I call if green waste was picked up). After they informed me of their denial, two months later, I appealed their decision, and yet have not had further correspondence from them.Although this is not definitive evidence, multiple people in the surrounding cities have had poor service, yet we have no choice to use CR&R.

      It is understandable that when a major holiday occurs (Christmas, 4th of July, etc.), the service is delayed 1 (one) day as had been the routine with the previous owner. However the routine now is that not only when a major holiday occurs but also during a regular week (as was last week), it can be 2 and even 3 days for trash pickup.Keep in mind that we do not live in the city where it would be only a few feet for us to get the trash out to the trash barrel, but we live in the country and is quite a distance from the house to outside our property to the street for pickup. So sometimes now we have to keep full trash bags in the house til we happen to go out to town in order to dispose of the full trash bags into the trash barrel which is now down the hill from our house.We were even called once in past couple of months and told that the trash truck "might" not be there on the scheduled day but for sure the following day. Well 3 days later he finally showed up. At that point why put the trash barrel out for that next week when only 3-4 days of trash? So in essence this business is not providing the service it said it would provide and is thus undependable.

      This is **************** for ** facility. The entire area covered (mostly **********, ** area) has been having wide spread issues and any attempt to resolve ends in frustration. In December and Jan we were not given service for 2.5 weeks. Many others experienced same and even more non service issues than myself. There was a huge blowup on ******** requesting help, complaints, personal experiences, etc. When I complained I received no help. I asked for refund, no help. Standard reply is "We eventually picked up your trash right?" I paid half my monthly bill and now I am receiving "pay or else" letters on the unpaid balance of which I received NO SERVICE. I have spent hours on hold, sent to collections department (as in punitively, before I refused to pay...) Many people are still having issue. The dump is shut down often due to broken equipment, I assume. I am asking STILL for $37 credit for 2.5 weeks of NO SERVICE. I am not the only one. Thank you.
