    Im unable to get ADT/Safehaven to turn service off. Service installed, and I found it wasnt good for me! My grandson in and out constantly was annoying! Then my passwords were changed the next day (by ******** and I could no longer see the monitors! While trying to reset passwords, I accidentally set off the alarm and the fire department came! I felt so terrible I called ADT and asked them to turn it off. I was told that there was no one there to help me! Im sure they have a record if they record all calls as they say. The installation person told us that we had 30 days to change our mind if it didnt work out! While sighing the contract, I was told that I would be given a copy to read later! Even though things were covered and a 3 day period was really 30 days! This person wasnt a new employee. Hes worked with them for 9 years, I feel it was done intentionally! When I called again I was informed that I needed a password, which was incorrectly noted! I was told my information was incorrect and the correct password would be mailed to me. I received it a week later and saw that the information was incorrect. These people do all they can to keep the service on. I requested the service to be turned off months ago and it is still on! I called my bank and explained the problem to them but cant get ADT to Comply with my request. I received an email saying that I would be charged in access of $1,000, and did I still want to cancel my service! I told them I did and to no avail, its still on! Tried to unplug it and they said it was a power outage! I am a senior citizen trying to fix a simple problem but I feel they are scamming customers! They need to be stopped immediately! I have called many times, ********* as well as ADT. One customer ********************** person said he was having computer problems and would call me back and never did! Theyre horrible and I hope they suffer the consequences for their service!

    RE: Customer Complaint- Contract I am a 73yo senior living on SS. On February 27, 2024 a salesman from Impulse Alarm (***) approached me while I was moving into my new home and told me that the builder ( ************************************* ******* *******, **) had authorized and approved *** alarm systems (equipment- FREE) to be installed in our new homes, and I would only be responsible for monitoring. I was NOT informed of the contractual agreement as this was done with cell phone signature. The *** ALARM SERVICE CONTRACT consist of 8 pages which was on the salesmans cell phone. I was rushed to INITIAL contract without given the opportunity to read all 8 pages. I WAS NOT aware this was a 36 month contract. The technician install the system the same day , which included door bell and cameras, however , I told the installer had no internet, therefore I would not be able use doorbell or camera. As of today (6/24/2024) , I still DO NOT have internet, not camera and no doorbell. I have been charged $63.99/month, since March 2024. I have made numerous calls to *** and Impulse Alarm to cancel contract, with no help.Again, I am a 73yo senior on a fixed income thats being taken advantage of. CAN ANY ONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE.
