Im unable to get ADT/Safehaven to turn service off. Service installed, and I found it wasnt good for me! My grandson in and out constantly was annoying! Then my passwords were changed the next day (by ******** and I could no longer see the monitors! While trying to reset passwords, I accidentally set off the alarm and the fire department came! I felt so terrible I called ADT and asked them to turn it off. I was told that there was no one there to help me! Im sure they have a record if they record all calls as they say. The installation person told us that we had 30 days to change our mind if it didnt work out! While sighing the contract, I was told that I would be given a copy to read later! Even though things were covered and a 3 day period was really 30 days! This person wasnt a new employee. Hes worked with them for 9 years, I feel it was done intentionally! When I called again I was informed that I needed a password, which was incorrectly noted! I was told my information was incorrect and the correct password would be mailed to me. I received it a week later and saw that the information was incorrect. These people do all they can to keep the service on. I requested the service to be turned off months ago and it is still on! I called my bank and explained the problem to them but cant get ADT to Comply with my request. I received an email saying that I would be charged in access of $1,000, and did I still want to cancel my service! I told them I did and to no avail, its still on! Tried to unplug it and they said it was a power outage! I am a senior citizen trying to fix a simple problem but I feel they are scamming customers! They need to be stopped immediately! I have called many times, ********* as well as ADT. One customer ********************** person said he was having computer problems and would call me back and never did! Theyre horrible and I hope they suffer the consequences for their service!
