cousin recommended this store for turtles as I didnt want to go to pet smart or petco. Me and my kids went to store on Sunday to get stuff for tank and I was speaking with ***** he had tattoos about the turtles and I showed him which one we wanted and he confirmed not once but 2 times as I asked him was he sure on the price he pointed to tag and said it was $29.99 I told him I would be back the next day to get turtle as we were setting up the tank. would like to add that I live in *****. Now Monday comes and we drive to store and I ask for the turtle and I also advise I was there yesterday and the guy told me it was $29.99 this guy said Im not sure how much and he said none of the tags match that turtle so now a supervisor I believe ****** comes over and she has to look up the turtle and Im there forever she said first it was this one other turtle that was $89 I think then she left and came back said its $69.99 I advise I was told 2 times that the turtle was this price and if I wanted the $29.99 dollar turtle I could have just stayed in ***** and not made an extra trip to ******* as pet smart has same turtles the lady was extremely rude that helped me was loud and other people could hear her I asked for another manager she said it was just her but store manager she could call she walks off comes right back and said they didnt answer but I can give you $10 off after I **** near was in tears because I was mad I drove there and they wouldnt honor the price. I will not be back its sad because its a nice store but no one knows things or prices how does NO one know a turtle and the prices. one other note I called back up there at 730 pm on Monday and asked the lady that answered the phone who the supervisor name was that day and she asked me why and I told her I was going to file a complaint and she asked why and could she help me I told her what was going on she said oh yea I remember she said just go ahead and fill out complaint manager will see itBusiness response

Hi guys, I bought a medicine for my cat from them that have no instruction or label on it! it came in an envelope with just a $16 price on the envelope it was one single pill! I dont know if thats legal for pet store to sell cat medicine without instructions or label I own 2 cat and one of the cats that I try to give it to normally he eats anything :) so I mixed the pill with his wet food this morning but he didnt even touch it! I do care a lot about animals and I would love to know if selling medicine out of an envelope without label that cats dont eat if its legal?I went to the store today and ask for the manager to explain to me whats in the envelope and who makes that pill but I got no answer just rudeness Please let me know if I contacted the right department?I appreciate your reply G damesBusiness response

Hello - In regards to this complaint . The consumer came into Carters Pet Mart stating he needed Cat Deworming medication . Just as a Vet does , we sold him Drontal Cat deworming tablets in a small Yellow sealed package with a Sticker of the name of the medication . I myself ********************* the owner helped this gentlemen . I showed him the product , asked him what he needed it for & i asked him how many Lbs his cat was . He stated 12lbs . I showed him the medication chart posted in front of the glass cabinet where the medication is locked up & stated he needed 1.5 pills for the cats weight . He stated he just only wanted one pill , I explained ok well just give him the full pill Atleast even tho the suggested dose is 1.5 pills . 2 days later he came into carters pet mart on 3/16/24 trying to return the empty package with no pill . There was no pill or product in the packaging . As per our policys - we do not return empty products / nor medications due to safety of animals & contamination. All our policys are stated on ALL receipts & posted in store . The customer got very aggressive demanding he gets his money back . We tried to reason with the customer & even offered 50% off another item to help compensate which was far outside our policys .
