Date : April 2021 - Brought in my engine for repair.June 2021 - towed my vehicle to shop. to put engine in.Gave a total of $800, $900 was the price given for labor. Dispute: *********************** has had my vehicle and engine for over 7 months! i am out $800 and no car. I have spent $128 on gas because he never answers his phone, I have to find rides, and gas to go to his business. (Approx 20 miles to see if my car is done; ( this is each way) I have been there at least 8 times, So that is 320 miles to see if my car is completed. Gas we have spent is approx $128. over 12 trips at 400 miles, up and back from ******* cal, and ******* cal. 17 miles to the gallon, at 27 gallons @ 4,75 a gallon. Not sure if you would count this an an expense on our part ). Just showing you what we have had to do to talk to this mechanic. He does NOT answer his phone. and has even said so. He keeps his voicemail full so no one can leave a message. We have been patient, and ***********************, owner of business has not try to resolve anything. Even though we have shown up over 12 times, He just keeps saying h*** have it done in a couple weeks. We are so tired of waiting. Thank you for any help you can give.
