    My minor daughter and I went to Valley Eye Professionals on I believe it was May 19, 2022. The eye Doctor wrote me a prescription that included additional corrections and enhancements, due to my medical conditions with my eyes. We were informed that it was a policy to place a HOLD on your credit card until the glasses arrive and your insurance pays them. My teenage minor daughter was given her paperwork first, where she was asked for her bank/credit card to place a hold on her card. I advised *******, the office manager several times I'm disabled, and on a set income due to having life threatening illnesses. We were reassured it was just hold. There was never a hold placed on my minor daughter's Visa Debit card. They took the funds out of her account the same day, within two minutes after we left the office. The glasses had not gone out to the lab, or billed to my insurance company. After receiving a call by a supervisor at my insurance company stating that they were billed for **** for each pair of glassed and the coding was wrong, do to them trying to double dip. I paid them a visit. They even lied on the documentation in our charts. Stating that my daughter and I refused to have our eyes dilated. We said that we could have our eyes dilated. Then one of the young ladies offered to dilate our eyes with some big machine, "for an extra out of pocket cost". I politely declined. When I went back in I to spoke with the Doctor myself. He had no clue what was going on, despite me being told by ****** and the other office assistant over the phone that he was fully aware of the issue. The Eye Doctor advised me that the young lady ****** submitted and DX Codes incorrectly to my insurance company so they denied the claim. The doctor rewrote my prescription and had ****** resubmit it. My insurance company covered the full cost of my daughter's glasses. ****** claims they did not due to the mistaken add on. ******* told her to give my daughter a refund, she still refuses!
