Our firm ordered a sideboard from Charles Fradin over a year ago. He took our deposit, took forever to get wood samples sent out and then DISAPPEARED-would not return a call or email from Anyone at our firm. We eventually gave up hope on the piece and placed an order with another manufacturer. He stole our deposit- we are out $4,000, not to mention Countless hours of trying to get a hold of him.Business response

We have not received the original complaint or we would have responded.
our business was badly affected by Covid the shut down of manufacturing facilities during the pandemic. We lost iur staff and our workers and were unable to complete many orders. Our clients were informed.
We are now just able to regroup and have slowly started to make good on orders that clients still want and are willing to wait for.
***************************** was contacted by Charles ********************** one month ago Mr ********************** apologized for the terrible situation and told *********************** that the company would be returning her deposit as soon as possible . She was informed that she would absolutely not loose her deposit !!!
She was indeed contacted and was well aware that she would NOT loose her deposit.
Difficult situations arise and all we can do is our best to make them right. *********************** was personally informed of the situation by Charles ********************** and was well aware that she would be receiving her deposit back in full.Initial Complaint

We purchased two custom wing chairs for $***** from this vendor in 12/21. They were supposed to ship by 1/31. ******* ****** did not deliver the chairs and now we cannot get ahold of them at all. They will not respond to calls, emails, texts, or other messages via social media. We have no idea if we will ever get our purchase or if the company has gone out of business. At this point we would like what we ordered or a full refund.
