On **** I purchased an event ticket for ****** The event was on Saturday ****** On ***** I attempted for a refund. An option available when requesting a refund was " I've bought tickets by accident" so that is the option I selected. Fan Support replies to my request in less than ** hours with " Thanks for reaching out, and so sorry to hear you ended up with tickets you couldn't use. Unfortunately, per our Purchase Terms, we can't offer a refund in this instance as it is your responsibility to ensure your purchase is correct before completion. Sorry we couldn't be of more help here, in future we recommend checking if the waiting list is active to return your tickets to or sending to a friend who can attend in your place. On **** I responded to their initial response to inform them I was not content and to see if there is anyway to at least obtain a future credit for another upcoming event. Again they denied me of a refund or to honor me a future credit. Their response on **** was " Unfortunately, per our Purchase Terms, once an event has taken place we can't offer a refund unless the event was cancelled, or your tickets were sold on the waiting list. Moreover, the event organiser had requested the final door list, which meant we had to close all Waiting List returns and refund requests". I understand if they do not want to give a refund but to completely decline a future credit feels like I have been robbed for my money and they could careless to fulfill their customer request and execute customer satisfaction. It is unfair to the public that this organizer would rather just give a recommendation of what to do in the future of a missed event vs trying to understand that there are obstacles that get in the way of plans. I purchased a ticket for ***** *** for ** ***** **** event. Just the day before I was supposed to ******** I contracted ********* I was trying to notify the company of what was going on, and never heard a response back until ** days later. They've claimed to have answered me before which I've never received in a email until the *** time I wrote about the status of my request. In the email the rep states that they cannot offer a refund unless the show is canceled or rescheduled, but I read their terms and conditions & it states that it is up to the organizers to determine each refund. They also have a terms and conditions section for ******** where in section ****** it states to comply with all health and safety protocols implemented by the event partner, so if the event partner and Dice is stating not to enter a place with ****** me attending would've been violating their terms and conditions and I could've spread this virus even more. I also put in my email that I am protected by the ******** Consumer Protection Act of the **** Consolidated Appropriations Act and they didn't even bother to respond to me, they just closed my refund request. I find it very unprofessional. I made a fourth attempt by messaging the company via Twitter and they tried to say according to their terms & ********** in section ** ******** policies, they tried to say since 11.6.2 states that they are not liable or responsible for anyone getting the virus & that I'm not entitled to a refund, but this is stated for those that actually attended an event not before. Once again, I insisted I followed their terms and condition as it says in section 11.6.3 and they still decide to penalize me for something that is out of my control. Again, I've received no response. Consumers request ********** be left unread or close with no response, it is very ************** and with ******** This company is thriving on people getting the virus and not giving their money back which is *************
