      I ordered a shade from Maggie's Shutters November 10 2022. I paid ******* a deposit of $675 that day. He told me the shade would be in mid January. I called at the beginning of January to get an update and make an appointment for installation. I noticed the business line did not have a voicemail nor was anyone picking up the line during business hours when I tried calling several times that week. I called and text ******* on his cell and was told I would have an update on January 23rd. I was also able to get ahold of a ********* (*******'s wife) on the business line eventually and was told ******* deals with shades and she deals with shutters. She made it seem as though she was having a hard time getting ahold of *******. I noticed today the company website is now disabled. I am shocked at this experience because I have been a long time customer of ******'s and never experienced this before. I noticed the Yelp reviews once i realized the phone number was possibly not being answered by an employee named ******** anymore and now manned by his wife. ******* belongs in jail for the fraud he's committing stealing money robbing ***** to pay ****

      Maggies Shutters has a 10 year warranty, some of my shutters are in need of repair and I have been reaching out to the Company since August 2022. They keep pushing it off month after month saying they don't have a worker in my area. Now when I call there phone number it is out of service.

      I placed an order with Maggie's Shutters and ***********. on October 26, 2022 to have 3 shutters installed for 3 windows. Total cost for 3 shutters was $1,990.00. I put a deposit for $995.00 in form of a check. I called business in December 2022 and they said they would call me a call in January 2023 to give installation date. I called two phone numbers ************** and ************** and number is not set up to receive calls. I want a refund for $995.00

      On 8/26/22 I gave *******, $1400.00 deposit for blinds in my home, after he measured and quoted me $2800. I signed the contract stating they would be ready from 8 to 10 weeks. I called after 8 weeks and asked the status? I was informed the blinds oils be ready November 7 and I would get a call before that with a time of installment. I never received a call. I called numerous times until I spoke with ******** she said the blinds were not ready, I told her I wanted a refund, she said Ok it will take 7 to 10 days and she would call me the next day after talking to *******. ******** never called me back. I requested ******* call me back he said I cannot get a refund because the blinds were already manufactured. I then agreed with a promise from ******* that he would have the blinds installed by Dec 1. He would call me after Thanksgiving, Dec 1 came and no one called me. I called and left numerous msgs. Again ******* called me and said because I cancelled the blinds with ******** it would take 3 more weeks. I told him, you said they were already manufactured when I requested a refund. I told ******* I want a refund. He said fine you will get it from 7 to ten days. To date I have not received anything.

      August 2022 paid a deposit of $800 for shutters to be installed on four windows. Haven't heard from owner or anyone else since then. Multiple phone calls have been made without answer. Multiple complaints have been posted against business on **** with the same complaints. This business is taking deposits and not following through on the jobs.

      On 6/23/22 I ordered house shutters from the company and was told by ******* *************) that they would arrive in 6 to 7 weeks (estimate date August 4th). I waited until August 11th to contact the business. I was advised there was going to be a short delay (maybe 2 more weeks) on my order.On August 25th I again contacted the company and was told they had no idea how long it would take to get my order, but they would have ******* contact me to update me about my order. At this time I waited to be contacted by *******. This call never happened so one week later (September 1st) I again contacted the company and stated I wanted to cancel my order and get my deposit back. The lady who answered the phone apologized for my delay in getting my order and promised ******* would call me back by the close of business. This call never happened.Since September 1st I have called the company over a dozen times and most of the time an answering service takes my name and advises me the company will call me back. This never happens and when someone at company picks up the phone I'm told ******* is the person I need to talk to and he will call me back. Those calls never happen.On October 27th I was contacted by ******* (text message) who stated he was trying to locate my order, and would get back to me. That was the last message I got from ******* until November 30th. In this message he stated he got my messages and my order was almost done. I advised **************** didn't think his company could deliver my order and I wanted my deposit back. I was advised this couldn't happen because the company already ordered wood and cuts had been done to wood. I advised him I would take what was part of the order was done and wait for the rest. ******* said no because order had to be delivered in one order. I asked him if I need to talk to someone else about refund and he said he was the owner. I just want my $5000.00 deposit back.

      I placed an order for shutters back on May 19th. ******* the owner came out and said it would take 6-8 weeks. To this day I have not received my shutters. Any promise by them to come out as been a lie. They won't answer their calls or return texts. There are multiple people on **** claiming the same has been done to them. At this point I just want my $600 deposit returned to me.

      On 5/11/2022, made contract with business with a $700 cash deposit. It is now 10/7/2022 with contract not fulfilled and request for return deposit has not been followed through.       On October 8, 2021, I ordered window coverings from Maggie's Shutters. One of the window coverings had still not come in so on April 1, 2022, I cancelled the order. I had a deposit of $324.50 on that window covering and was told that I would get the deposit back. After numerous phone contacts, they still have not sent my deposit back. They tell me that "the check is in the mail" I would like your help in resolving this matter. I have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General.

The case is now resolved satisfactorily.

      Three years ago, Maggie's Shutters installed shutters and blinds in our home. The job cost $****. They also installed motorized blinds. We are told everything has a 10 year warranty. In September 2021, the battery completely died in the one blind. I asked for the battery to be replaced. They say the company that makes those blinds is out of business? But they promise me they will find a replacement. For seven months now, since my original request in September of 2021, they have told me they'd return calls that are never returned, supply issues, etc. But they ultimately promised, "if we can't find a new battery, we'll replace the shade." They have done nothing in seven months. There is a warranty this company provides. A warranty is a legal contract. They're not honoring their side of the contract. And we are all out of patience for this situation. We would like one of the following to happen: (1) a new battery, (2) new shades equivalent to what we have, or (3) some kind financial payment for us to go replace them. If you read their Yelp reviews, it's clear we're not the only people being given the run-around by this company. I never wanted it to come to this but they've left us no choice.
