On June 11, 2024 I ordered a 5# bag of pumpkin seeds roasted and salted from First Choice Candies thru Amazon.com. Order # ***-1790260-8597043 for $39.99 (pending charge). To date this order is open and never filled. A few days after my order posted the price was changed to $44.99 I placed a second order thru Amazon.com from First Choice Candies (same product and size bag) on July 11,2024 for $44.99. Order was shipped and arrived on July -6, 2024 I realize at $5.00 this is a trivial claim however as it is the consumers obligation to pay for products purchased it is also the suppliers obligation to ship products bought and paid for at the contracted price. This order should be filled for the purchase price. *** Note charge is pending and not placed with credit cardBusiness response

Upon review, it appears that your original order placed in June 2024, with order number 114-1790260-8597043, was processed and fulfilled directly from Amazon's warehouse.
We recognize that after the initial order, the price of the pumpkin seeds increased due to market conditions, which are beyond our control. As a result, the price was adjusted to reflect the new cost of sourcing the product.
To address this issue, we have issued a refund of the $5.00 price difference to your account. We hope this resolution demonstrates our commitment to your satisfaction and alleviates your concerns.
Please understand that inflation and market fluctuations have significantly impacted the cost of many products in recent years. We strive to manage these changes as transparently as possible and appreciate your understanding in this challenging economic environment.
