Company and CEO signed a contract with me since October 8th, 2020 to build a pool and Jacuzzi, patio cover and hardscape/landscape which presently now is 11 months+ (contractual agreement to finalize all particulars of contract by March 15th, 2021). Unfortunately, there has been a multitude of excuses for work delays in addition to poor *********** and now job abandonment of the following: 1.) The patio cover which was built has been leaking since built. 2.) The Timer of the pool lights is non-functional 3.) The Pool Auto Filler is non-functional 4.) MOST Concerning- Pool Coping which is now Cracked around jacuzzi. This is was done on April 2021 and will lead bigger structural problems/bodily injury in the future if not replaced. 5.) Refused to and failed to add 4 electrical outlets. 6.)Pool equipment foundation needs to be fixed by adding *************** adding to its integrity 7.) Refund associated costs paid by myself (Gates, etc) and ALL future repairs.

      Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2021/10/05) */ Good morning We will respond on this complain shortly We have all final inspections with that customer The Complain is fake ! Sincerely, DOUBLE OAK CONSTRUCTION . Direct: X-XXX-XXX-XXXX ******************************* ***************************** Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2021/10/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) After so many failed attempts to find restitution/resolution to the particulars discussed, Double Oak Construction,Inc neglected to accept responsibility as bound by Ethical Obligations and Standards of Practice set forth by the CSLB and State Consumers Board. I have and will continue to incur costs for repairs and completion of work and substandard work done. If necessary, I am ready to seek legal counsel to find a resolution and get refunded all expenditures incurred by myself. This has been brought to the attention of said the companies Insurer Bond and CSLB. Double Oak Construction, INC., in not wanting to finalize and fix all said particulars has: 1. Breached contract 2. Abandoned an incomplete job 3. Produced poor workmanship in accordance with industry standards and building code regulations. Double Oak negligently and carelessly performed construction work, which was substandard, visibly defective, poor construction, incomplete, and below acceptable trade standards. As a direct and proximate result of said Contractor, I have and will continue to incur monetary expenses for repairs and completion of work. I and asking for contractual rescission and resolution/restitution to the above particulars and have concomitantly filed a formal complaint with the CSLB and will purse counsel if necessary. I have respectfully and politely asked, Double Oak Construction CEO to amicably find remediation to this only to be ignored and lied to. Transparency and Integrity are instrumental to a companies mission and core values, I sincerely hope that Double Oak Construction takes a good look in the mirror and really believe that they adhere to such respectful standards as stated in their website. Attached are a few pictures of the poor standards of construction done by said contractor and have many more to justify that this in deed is not a "fake" complaint as stated.
