6/14/2022-Hired ********************* to find a mover for us. *************** was hired by ********************* to move all of our household items from **** ******** **** ********** ** XXXXX to *** Wait **** ******** CA XXXXX. A part of our move included 10 small boxes (12x12x18) and 10 medium boxes (18x18x18) all boxes were labeled. Twenty boxes were loaded onto the truck with all of our other household furniture. Items were delivered 6/20/2022. We did not unpack our boxes until approximately 7/10/2022. Upon doing that we found that 3 of our medium boxes did not get delivered on 6/20/2022. I contacted *********************, and they would not return my calls. I finally did a ******************************************************** on 7/14/2022 my claim # is XXXXXXXX. ********************* responded that they "will assist in the filing of an insurance claim against this carrier that by law has their own insurance as required by the Dept of Transportation ***** and the ***** (Federal Motor Carrier Service Administration) All carriers that we hire are licensed, registered, bonded, and insured as required and it is instances such as these are rare and regrettable but that is why the law required this insurance". ********************* did not assist me in filing a claim. I filed a claim with *************** on 9/2/XXXXX. I sent it via US mail. I have been trying to contact them about the status of my claim, but nobody will respond to me. I have sent emails as well without success. Boxes missing-labeled "garage" assorted contents; *********** sander, worksite cordless power drill drive, ********* impact driver, hammer drill 20V, air staple gun, impact wrench. Heavy duty staple gun, light weight staple gun, numerous sizes and types of staples. Labeled **************** bake set-2 cookie sheets, muffin pan, loaf pan, pie & cake pan, assorted silicone utensils, ******** beach 4qt slow cooker, 4 qt. stand-alone mixer & butcher blk. knife set. ************ ***** & CD's *****
