Good afternoon .
We received a complaint from one of our clients, *********************** who we represent in a work related injury.Unfortunately, due to attorney client privilege we are unable to disclose any details of the case to a third party, without a written consent from our client. He holds the privilege and divulging such information would be a serious violation of the Business and Professional Code.
However we can say that complaint has no merit. *************** refused to accept a settlement offer that was made and the case is proceeding to trial in the near future
We have met with **************** on two occasions and explained how the system works and the offer. We also documented over 30 telephone calls with him.
He simply does not agree with the system and how the laws apply to his case. He demanded to go to trial and he will. A judge will make a decision based on the evidence available ********************* disagrees with the evidence
Please note that we represent him on a contingency based arrangement, regulated by the State of **********. Mr ************ never paid us any money as our fee comes from the settlement or the award.
Unfortunately it takes time to get to trial, which is beyond the control of this office, but is based on the courts calendar and the availability of judges.
It would also help if *************** would behave in a more civilized manner towards our staff and his attorney.
Should he agree to sign a release allowing up to provide us with more detailed, specific information we would be happy to do so.
