To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a formal complaint against Quality Properties regarding several unresolved issues and inadequate service provided during their engagement on our property.Incomplete Work: Under our initial contract of roughly $24,000, Quality Properties was responsible for tree cutting and all ***** removal. Despite a promise by the owner, ****, that they would make it right after receiving payment and finish the job, the work remains incomplete to date, and stumps still remain on the property.Irrigation System Damage: During the tree trimming process, Quality Properties damaged our irrigation system in our avocado grove. Despite bringing this to ****'s attention, there has been no resolution or effort to fix the damage. We now have to hire another company to repair the irrigation system to prevent our grove from dying, which is estimated to cost thousands of dollars.**** from Quality Properties did not remove all the stumps during the initial tree trimming contract. When we asked **** to clean our property in May 2024 (raking twigs, cleaning the street, etc.), we were charged again by **** a year later for the unfinished ***** removal. This double billing is unjustified. No work was done under the new verbal agreement between **** and me. I asked **** to cease work, hired a new crew, and had to ask ***** crew to leave to avoid additional billing because they showed up after informing **** we were using a new company to complete the work. **** did not inform his crew to stop working which is why they showed up at the same time the new company arrived. Harassment for Payment: Due to a lack of communication from Quality Properties, we are now being contacted directly by their worker **** for payment. This is unacceptable and further complicates the situation, given that ****, the owner, refuses to make contact with us.Given the above issues and the significant impact they have had on our property and peace of mind, we feel compelled to seek resolution through the Better Business Bureau. We hope that filing this complaint will prompt Quality Properties to address these problems promptly and fairly. We have informed **** that all work is to cease immediately to prevent future bills.
