2/18/22, I took my Honda Civic in for maintenance I had a P0128 code on dash. I was told I needed a coolant sensor replaced. Agreed to repairs to only return within a couple weeks (3/11/22) with the same P0128 code. I called Temecula Meineke and spoke to Jacob I******* to ask him why I was getting the same code again and he asked me to bring the car back. This time I was told that I needed a new cooling system thermostat. Again I agreed to pay the repairs and picked up my car upon completion. This vehicle has been well maintained and it’s imperative to keep up with it as I use it to commute to El Segundo for work. I have receipts for all maintenance and repairs. On the work order from 3/11/22, states the radiator fluids were drained then replaced. On 3/23/22, I pulled off and my check engine light came on suddenly forcing me to park the car. I have never had mechanical issues of any sort with this vehicle. I called notified Jacob and advised him I was taking it to the Honda dealer. I called a tow to the Honda dealership and it was discovered my engine burnt out due to no radiator fluid. Honda further certified that there was no damage to the under body and no leaks whatsoever. The radiator fluid had not been replaced and as result once the reserved radiator fluid dissolved it burnt the engine. I contacted Meineke and the staff refused to provide owner contact info and denied the negligence. I have found reviews online that they have done this to many people. I requested the company pays for a rebuilt engine but they have not properly responded.
