      On July 25, 2024 I visited Temecula Hyundai intending to purchase a vehicle they had advertised on their website. The ad showed this vehicle ( 2023 Hyundai IONIC5 SEL with ***** miles) and only one price, $32,000. No other prices or additions were included in the ad. After seeing the car I told them I wanted the car and would pay them the full advertised price. They refused to honor their advertised price and showed me an invoice which included an additional amount of almost $1900. I believe what they did is a clear violation of California law (SB478). I invite you to check Temecula Hyundai's website. You will see that this vehicle is still on the sight and advertised for the same price. I would also like to add that when I first arrived on the lot they tried a bate and switch, taking me to view a vehicle that was similar, but not the same, as the one I came to see.

      The 2016 Hyundai ****** is a certified re-owned vehicle purchased from Hyundai Temecula in 2017. It included 10 years or ********** miles. My wife started having problems with the ****** before it reached that mileage and they wouldnt find anything wrong with it then once it hit past the mileage they said it was catalytic converter and they convinced my wife and I to have it replaced for over ********. After it was replaced my wife still had the same problems with acceleration and oil consumption then it broke down again and this time they replaced the catalytic converter at no charge but it was a hassle trying to talk to them about the problems with the ******. I left them messages but couldnt get them on the line saying that it was the oil consumption and acceleration thats the issue. A few months later it broke down for the last time and now they said its the engine and they want to charge $8,000.00 for a new engine. Ive been reading about the vehicle year, make and model of the ****** as having engine problems due to oil consumption. The fact that the car smelled so much like gasoline this last time made us so angry that they put my family at risk because the car couldve caught on fire. Also, there were the previous times when we were almost rear ended in the freeway because of the acceleration. Hyundai is saying that they are not responsible for the engine failure and have refused to buy back their faulty vehicle or pay for the correct repairs.

      My car has been maintained by your dealership for the recommended services plus. Where do I begin, I first started noticing a transmission issue around 55,000 miles. Reported it after each issue but "it wouldn't reproduce the issue when there", it kept getting worse naturally and it finally was replaced under the extended warranty I purchased when buying the car. I was not told there was a deductible before the work was started and when I went to get my car, there was a deductible. I have had two instances where the air filter inside my vehicle was not replaced. I had brought my car in for the 90,000 mile service most recently and change was stolen from my car. My warranty ended at 90,000 mile and now my a/c lines were damaged (broken) and I was told this has been going on for some time. If I just brought my car in to you at this service interval, why was this not told to me that there was an issue? I am seeking reimbursement for the repair of the ac lines ($632.) and the deductible ($50) which I was not told I had one before the service was started and I am also wanting my entire vehicle inspected by Hyundai for any issues that were overlooked all the years you have maintained my vehicle. I also want my warranty extended at no charge since the ac lines were overlooked and it took so long to fix the transmission issue , I am concerned for my vehicle and potential damage it might have caused.

      We have done everything possible to take care of this vehicle.
      However, we are not willing to take responsibility to maintain/repair a vehicle that we do not own.
      Maintenance and repairs are the responsibility of the registered owner.
      The in cabin filter was changed on the vehicle and we showed the customer. 

      We do not accept responsibility for the request of reimbursement.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      Let me know why this was missed while under warranty and why it was not seen when doing the 90,000 mile service. I truly believe Steve is an honest man and is new to the company but when my vehicle was being serviced with Temecula Hyundai before his arrival, I don't believe my vehicle was truly being serviced with fidelity. I still stand by what I wrote, and would like compensation for the ac line repair and I am still concerned that it could have messed up other parts of the ac system. Please let me know what Hyaundai plans to do to protect me as a consumer. Thank you, ***** ******

      on August 23 2021 we received a notice that our car had a recall on it...f we noticed the gas started to drop a significant amount would have to fill way more than normal .we thought it was the recall . So we went to make an appointment with the service center they didn't have any appointments for the recalls yet we were told we had to wait..in the process of waiting Leo that sold us the car said that our car had equity in it and we could get another car so went made an appointment to see what he had to offer... the I wasn't interested in the car . but then Leo called again so I decided to come back this time I told him I wanted the 2022 hyundai elantra he said they didn't have one there but he could order one and he will let us know when it arrives and leo also he wasn't sure the exact day it will come but he would let us know when it gets there.. the car arrived at the location on a Friday my husband and I were both at work when Leo sent us a text that the car was there.. I let him know we could get there around 4.. he never answered my text. We getoff work and he tells my husband the car sold.... . my husband very irriated when he told me the car is no longer there....Leo looked at us with this dead stair and said we cannot hold a car for anyone well fine Just let us know the car sold instead of waisting our time..we made arrangements to get another car we went to our appointment again this Leo said we had to another credit I didn't the car because I didn't want muplite credit checks.... he then got Tony I explained to Tony and Leo that our gas was dropping alot and we only travel in town I felt very disrespected by Leo and Like I was a dumb black girl...we mad the appionment for the recall check Travis told us the was fine and the gas is dropping because of bad gas.i would like a refund on all the money I spent on gas because of an internal problem the car had and no one would help us at all and I would like a new car with no gas issues and be treated nice

      I was told by ******* that I need to contact hyundai Corporate because I shouldn't have those types of issues with my car and the corporate office Handel's those type of issues
