Purchased Solar Panels from this company with a 25 year warranty. Apparently the business filed bankruptcy and was sold but I was never contacted. A new company Sunrun took over several states / cities. I contacted them and was told my city was not part of that takeover. I need assistance trying to find who took over so I can receive the balance of my solar panels warranty.Initial Complaint

Our Sungevity rooftop solar system was installed in 2016 on a 20-year contract, which came with the ability to login to the website to monitor our solar production. The website no longer honors our login, the customer service line and email are disconnected. There does not appear to be any means of contacting this company. We would like to have our promised ability to monitor our energy production.Initial Complaint

When we purchased our house last 2018 we took over the solar lease with Sungevity hoping to save us electricity bills, we have been contacting Sungevity costumer support and for over 2 years since it went bankrupt, with no customer support, left us in limbo of how to get it back on, sat in our roof not working, we called numerous times with the business and they could not locate my profile, so we were stuck having it just sitting on top of our house without knowing how it works, we called the number they provided to reach and have someone take a look at our solar system and it automatically goes to voicemail this company is no longer in service and hangs up, 2 years later they slapped me with a lease payment due when my electric bill clearly shows that the solar panels have been non active, due to the Sungevity customer service neglect, we suffered from paying higher electricity bill hoping to benefit from leasing the solar and left us in financial hardships and from selling our house
