9If your vehicle ends up in their possession, It will be a nightmare. I was in a hit and run accident on 12/12/21, in Perris. The Deputy, let's call him OATHMAN, fist and foremost talked me into allowing him to tow it for me to "get it off the street and take it to a secure location". I asked him if he could tow it to my house for me which he stated I would have to pay out of pocket for the tow to my home. So I replied from the back of the ambulance, "in that case please have it towed" I get out of the hospital and get some rest, and then I go to pick up my bike.. nightmare begins. 950.00. Plus 70 dollars every day it's in their possession. The law enforcement tow racket RSD has going on is ment to harm people. I'm shocked and distraught. I don't know how our legal system is setup to allow this to happen. However extenuating circumstances should always merit a degree of fairness. 10k I paid for the bike. Lost to shady tow companies and police departments that "serve the people" in reality they just run a business by extoring people for 70 dollars a day storage fees on a bike the had stuffed between a car and a wall.
