We contacted R** ********s Bee Specialists June 8th about removing and relocating a beehive from our home. A technician came out and explained that he was going to spray some kind of essential oil into the hive in our wall behind our chimney. He sprayed and the bees poured out forming a swarm outside on our rafter by the next morning. The technician made not attempt to remove the swarm or even give us a recommendation for someone who could remove it. Had that happened we wouldn't be in this situation now. The bees were all back by the next day. I called again and the technician came out and sprayed again. The bees were back by morning. When I texted the technician about the bees coming back, he said he would have to talk to his manager and the next text I received said that they thought we "needed an extermination which is an additional $250 minimum." We never wanted the bees exterminated, that is why we were contacting them, because on their website it says they remove and relocate the bees. When the technician first came out in June he said the method he was using would get the bees to leave the hive and not return but he never mentioned anything about what would happen to the honeycomb and honey in our wall. They also never told us about the senior discount that was stated on their website either. We paid the company $375 in full for a job that has never been completed. The bees are still in the hive in our wall and so are the honeycomb and honey. This is highly unprofessional and since they said they guarantee their work and the work has not been done, we would like a full refund. I have been calling the only number that is available on their website to speak to someone for the past three weeks but am only able to leave messages and NO ONE has returned my calls. I filled out a form on their website stating the problem and someone named Natalie emailed me back saying that our request for a refund was under review. I hired Bee Specialist to exterminate bees at our house. They came on June 7 and said they sprayed, but nothing happened. This cost $625 dollars. I reported the issue and they did nothing. In fact, they tried to sell me on additional services for additional cost. They continually told me to wait and see if it got better. But nothing. Was as bad as before they came and I spent the money. They refused any refund.
