They offered an item at a discount but then claimed that the discount was in error after charging my credit card and sending me an order confirmation. They told me if I wanted to keep the item I would have to pay just over double what the item was being sold for otherwise they would cancel the order. They have had my money for 48 hours before contacting me telling me I need to pay more for the item. My concerns were not addressed when I contacted customer service refusing to pay more for an item already paid for. This is borderline bait and switch and if anything false advertising.Review from Neal T

They ran a promotion offering a free 1/4 grogu with a qualifying purchase over 175 dollars. They had a list of eligible items of which some were on sale. The text of the offer says the item will be added at check out. It wasn’t added and customer service stated multiple offers can’t be stacked. Seems like false advertising if you list the item on sale as eligible, but the consumer has to manually remove the sale to receive grogu. Nothing in the text of the promotion said it couldn’t be stacked.Review from Vincent P

Stay away from this "Middle Man" company. They are more than happy to take your money upfront. Then you need to wait for, in my case 1-2 years, for the product to ship. They mislead you on the web site. They show "Expected ship date: August 22. After you purchase and pay for the item you will receive an email stating that your purchase will be delayed. No date when it will ship and no other communication. You call or chat with service and they are clueless no help whatsoever. It is now August 23 and still no product or anticipated ship date. Will never do business with this misleading, untrustworthly company again. There are other companies and ways to get the same products they list.Sideshow Collectibles Response

Hopefully you've been satisfied with the overall experience over the course of the 40+ items you've purchased from us in the last 3 years. We regret that this recent purchase has not been to your satisfaction. As collectors ourselves, we understand the disappointment that occurs when the estimated arrival date of an item changes. With that being said, delays of this nature are not uncommon in this industry and hobby. These items have a complex development and production schedule. Our process and ship dates are all based on estimated arrivals (projected ship dates from the manufacturer, when we expect the item to get on the water, when we expect the item to port, etc). There are a plethora of factors that can result in a change in the estimated arrival of a pre-order collectible. In this case, the items you have on pre-order are all distributed items not manufactured by Sideshow. We have done our best to provide good information and update collectors as we receive new information. We make every effort to get these collectibles to you as close to when they process as possible. These changes in estimated arrivals are just as frustrating to us as they are to collectors who have pre-ordered. For future reference, any item that is delayed for any time frame from it's original ETA is eligible for a full refund upon cancellation if you don't wish to wait for the item to arrive. It's been 3 years since I purchased my Jay and silent Bob statue. They don't respond to email or DMs. So I really don't know what's going on. Not looking for. Refund, I just want what I purchased..they send me email everyday few months to extend the date. Definitely disappointed.Review from Britt H

After waiting over a year and spending a lot of money on a hot toys figure I received it in a damaged box, the damage carried through to the figure packaging itself causing several severe warps and creases. I expressed my frustration to customer service and was met with tough luck next time pay for double boxing, which I was not even made aware of and is only offered for certain items. I have made four purchases over the past six years. I can always depend on the most impeccable quality in the collectibles Sideshow offers, as well as an incredible selection. I really appreciate the flex pay option. I've only ever had one issue with an order, which really had to do with the supplier, not Sideshow. The delivery date kept getting pushed back. When I finally decided to abandon that order, Sideshow made it so easy to cancel it, and refund my payment as a credit on my Sideshow account so that I could immediately select something else. The entire experience was positive. I'll definitely continue using Sideshow for acquiring my collectibles, and would highly recommend Sideshow to anyone looking for the highest quality collectibles on the market!Review from Brian B

Have bought a number of statues over the years. Always good clear information before and during the order process. Good payment and shipping options. Sideshow is a fantastic company, I have ordered 2 items from them. When the first one was coming in my payment method was out of date and I forgot to update it, so they canceled it, but I called them and they were able to switch it over to my Paypal that was already on the account with no issues, and the rep I spoke to was awesome, very helpful and the order was resumed without a hiccup. The one that has arrived was packaged well but part of it actually broke while taking it out. I didn't know what to do but was told to contact the company and they shipped out a replacement part (the arm was the only detachable part from the statue) no questions asked and at no cost! Looks great sitting on my shelf now.
