This location and franchise deserves negative stars. I called to cancel my membership in January of 2022 and was told by young individual I needed to email my cancellation request. They explained I needed to include my account number in my email which I proceeded to obtain from the employee on the phone. Without having any clue that the account number given to me was for a closed account I had over 2 years ago, I proceeded with my email request. The email service confirmed closure of my account. I obviously continued to get charged since they did not recognize the account number I gave was indeed already closed and said nothing. Now that I’m aware of continuously being charged for 6 more months, I replied to the email service demanding a refund. The email service said my account for the other location is now officially closed for July and my original cancellation request from January is not their problem and I need to go in person to request a refund. I’ve spent an entire week speaking with managers who agreed the incorrect account number I wa a given to begin with is not my fault and SOMEONE should have noticed I was referencing a very old account number and not the ACTIVE ONE. Now that I confirmed old old old account is still indeed closed, they do not want to refund me for their own customers mistake of giving me the wrong account number. Although I received confirmation of my account being closed in all locations, I’m having to demand a refund. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. And I hope the franchise stops opening locations since they can’t hire helpful people.
