V****** entered into a contract to purchase a vehicle from Allen Motors that states he owes monthly payments to Allen Motors which he has not done. Allen Motors is the lien holder, not a regular bank, there was never bank financing that we tried to secure for him. V****** has tried to trade and or sell the vehicle on many occasions but can’t because he still owes us the agreed upon balance on his contract.

I bought a motor vehicle from Allen Motors, all the transaction were done through Garrett the sales manager. He described the cars condition and road worthiness and being excellent and he drove it daily himself. He stated that his mechanic had checked the car over and it needed nothing. When the car arrived via a transport company, the car's display lit up like a Xmas tree, not only did is have a chassis system failure, but a broken engine mount, bad brakes, leaks on the oil pan, oil pressure sensor fault, missing trim , no oil or any filter changes. Under carriage damage and parts missing. This car was a total nightmare. They lied to me big time and he does not want to take an ounce of misleading me or any responsibility. This car is very unsafe, I have not been able to drive or use it until it gets basic things like brakes and mounts fixed. This is as per the techs at Porsche stated a very dangerous car and how the hell could anybody let a human being drive such a dangerous car.

AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS SIGNED BY BOTH PARTIES THIS 2010 PANAMERA WITH OVER 100,000 MILES WAS SOLD "AS IS" TO THE BUYER MAKING THE COMPLAINT.  WE RECOMMENDED HE HAVE THE VEHICLE INSPECTED PRIOR TO BUYING IT, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE HE LIVES SO FAR AWAY, HE DECIDED TO NOT DO THAT.  WHEN THE VEHICLE LEFT OUR LOT IT HAD NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH FOR ANYTHING SUGGESTING THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR.  WE OFTEN DRIVE THE VEHICLES BEFORE PUTTING THEM UP FOR SALE AND THIS VEHICLE DROVE FINE. IT CHECKED OUT AS SAFE TO SELL BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC THAT WE USE IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. MOST VEHICLES THAT ARE THIS OLD WITH OVER 100,000 MILES WILL HAVE SLIGHT OIL LEAKS, AND PARTS THAT ARE WEARING OUT, SUCH AS MOTOR MOUNTS.  THE BRAKES ARE OBVIOSLY NOT GOING TO BE BRAND NEW.  WE FEEL THAT THIS CUSTOMER IS TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A GOOD CAR AND HAVE US PAY TO MAKE THINGS NEW ON THE VEHICLE THAT HE SHOULD BE PAYING FOR.  HE RECEIVED A $3,000.00 DOLLAR DISCOUNT OFF THE ASKING PRICE WHEN HE BOUGHT THE VEHICLE AND REPRESENTED TO US THAT HE IS IN THE "CAR BUSINESS" SO HE SHOULD KNOW ITS HIS RESPONSIBILTY TO CHECK OUT THE VEHICLE BEFORE PURCHASING IT.  Tell us why here...

I am rejecting this response because:

      Regards,

      L*** *******

This dealership response is a total fabrication of lies. A third party evaluation was never mentioned. I relied on the false information the sales manager told me. This car did not pass a safety inspection, all vehicles in California need to pass. This car was classed as dangerous by the inspection done at Elco Chevorlet. The brakes, engine mount, the chassis system failure and the under carriage damage was not disclosed. Whether this is a as is car or not, these failures should have been mentioned, the price has nothing to do with it. I work for a auto dealer myself, there is no way we would have sold a car that was not road worthy.

      Thanks

ALL OF OUR VEHICLES GO TO AN INDEPENDENT 3RD PARTY MECHANIC FOR A SAFETY INSPECTION.  THERE WOULD BE NO REASON TO MENTION IT TO AN OUT OF STATE BUYER UNLESS IT WAS REQUESTED BY THE BUYER TO SEE THE INSPECTION.  I HAVE ATTACHED THE SAFETY INSPECTION THAT WAS DONE PRIOR TO US PLACING THE VEHICLE FOR SALE.  AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, THE BUYER WAS ADVISED THAT HE HAD THE RIGHT TO HAVE A MECHANIC OF HIS CHOICE INSPECT THE VEHICLE, HE DECLINED.  AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, THERE WERE NO LIGHTS ON THE DASH TO INDICATE A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE.  MOTOR MOUNTS AND OIL LEAKS ARE NORMAL WEAR ITEMS ON A 2010 PORSCHE WITH OVER 100k MILES.  THE VEHICLE WAS TRANSPORTED ACCORSS COUNTRY SO WHO KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS LOADED OR UNLOADED FROM THE TRUCK.  FINALLY, THIS BUYER IS IN THE CAR BUSINESS, HE IS A PROFESSIONAL AND SHOULD TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR NOT HAVING THIS VEHICLE INSPECTED BEFORE HE BOUGHT IT, ESPECIALLY SINCE HE IS THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY. IF HE WOULD OF THEN WE WOULDNT ALL BE IN THIS SITUATION AND WE ALL WOULD KNOW IF THE TRUCKING COMPANY DAMAGED THE CHASIS OF THE VEHICLE.

I am rejecting this response because:
This dealer is lying completely, which is expected from shady dealing practices. I was never offered an inspection nor was I given one, at my dealership we have the customer sign an inspection. I was never offered a third party inspection, I went on the promise of the Manager's words stating it was a clean car. The broken engine mount was not from the transport of the car, this car has been involved in some kind of accident hence the under carriage is ripped out. These abundant lies are not going to work. I have evidence and pictures to verify the under carriage damage, which was not caused by the transport company.
