On August 26, 2022, An Ekoterra technician came out to my home to perform a service for spiders that included de-webbing and spraying for the spiders. The service was to cost $69 for the one time service. I explained the areas that were troublesome and he started his work. He said he would collect a check at the end of the service. The technician completed his tasks and came back to get the check. I started to write it for $69 and asked him how much does it cost to have them come out monthly. He told me $195 and I thought about it and decided I would do that. He did not give me and invoice or paperwork, nor did I sign any contract with them. He just stated that he would put me on the monthly list and left. Now a week had passed and the webs had all come back and well as the web makers (eek) and I decided that I did not want to continue monthly. I waited another week but more webs just came so on Sept 8, 2022, exactly 1 week and 6 days since the service, I called to cancel service and have the amount less the initial $69 returned to me. The receptionist who answered stated, "OK, I will let the manager know." The manager then texted me that they would come out for a "Free touch up" and for more money could use a stronger spray. I politely told him no thank you and I would like my refund less the initial $69. I was busy on the 9/8 and would not be home. I did not authorize them to access my property to do the touch up but they came to my home without my permission and did the touch up anyway. I talked to the manager again and asked for my refund and he stated that I did not have an outstanding balance and showed me an invoice. I again asked for my money minus the $69 but he stated they do not give out refunds. He claimed the technician did the $195 treatment but that is untrue as i did not decide to sign up for that until the technician had already completed the work, so that means he sis the $69 service. I would like my refund please.
