We booked Comfort Inn & Suites Sequoia Kings Canyon - Three Rivers for April to visit Sequoia but the park was closed due to weather. The first interaction went well and the hotel rep was able to change the dates. The second time I called was because the park entrance was still closed closest to the hotel due to the immense snowfall that damaged the roads and I was not met with the same type of customer service. The entrance to the park is 1.5 hours away from the hotel and it would not make sense to stay there at the time. I called to cancel or make changes and find a solution but staff weren’t willing to assist nor provide a solution. There was no manager available to speak to untill the following week. When I called the third time to speak to the manager, I was met with confrontation instead of assistance due to me being upset of the lack of customer service and assistance prior. The manager has made me feel uncomfortable and has been dismissive of my concerns and his only focus was to blame me for being upset of potentially losing $500. I feel incredibly dismissed and very uncomfortable in attending the hotel because of how they have handled my situation. Our intentions were to attended the hotel, as were very excited to visit, once the roads were fixed but at this point, we do not feel comfortable going to the hotel based on the staff’s treatment. Our goal is to get our money back.
