      On July, 2023, I went into the SouthBay **************** location for a treatment for the cheeks and lips. I paid upfront but only did a partial treatment since this was my first time getting injections. The left side cheek was injected with partial filler which seemed to be of no consequence. Once the right side was injected, immediately a different pain was felt, one I had not felt with the left side injection. The injection was much deeper, felt lower near my jaw joint, not cheek. After that, I chose to end treatment and go home. They never informed me beforehand that this many injections were necessary. With regard to My right side cheek filler injection, it remained in pain the entire day. At night it increased and I began to feel intense pain in my jaw, upper front and lower teeth, radiating to both sides, as well as joints of jaw. After researching, I read that pain in teeth and jaw joints are not normal. I called South Bay Med spa ********* answered. I informed them of what happened. As soon as I hinted that there was a problem, before I could go into detail to describe the actual issue, I was cut off and talked over. She immediately became abrupt and rude. She got defensive and began minimizing the issue. She hadnt even listened to the full symptoms/issues I was having. I tried explaining Id been experiencing this for over a week up to that point. I persisted and told her I needed to talk to someone about what I paid for, and I cant t go through this again. Now there was an issue of trust and quality of care. She rushed me off the phone and said shed talk to upper management, and theyd call me back. I later canceled the appt for the next treatment scheduled. No one called. I called the office several times in the afternoon and morning, but my calls went to voicemail. Finally, I reached *******, who also, once informed of the problem, was abrupt and did not want to hear the concern of what had been going on. She was indifferent, talking fast and in a hurry to get off the phone. Ultimately, she too said it had to go to upper management and that someone would call me by Friday for sure. A week went by and Friday came and went with no call. After Friday, I called back and again no answer. I got voicemail. I left another message and have not heard from anyone since. *** tried multiple times to call to resolve this issue with no success. Its now been almost two months of silence. Theyve continued to ignore me and refuse to do the right thing. The work that I had was incorrectly done and hurt me. Theyre also still holding my money when the full treatment was never done.

      I plan on filling a complaint with the nurses board also m.. my problem is when someone goes to get a injection they should do it how asked if I asked for half tube 25 percent in each lip that how it should be done they put the whole tube 60 percent in the top 40 in bottom. That's not what I asked for or wanted I have been doing this for 20 years I know what I want. how it heals what I like . I refuse to pay for something done wrong .. I left a percentage of payment then I left . They expect whole payment for making me ugly I know how I want to look. I lost so much money do-to canceling function I had .. and vacation I had planned .. the only reason I went to them was for my vacation to look good what I think looks good it's my face. not to look ugly ducky and fake ..not to look good months later from over doing my lips. That not okay . They don't even allow a pay on line option if I wanted to pay for Botox. I don't ever want to walk in to that place or see them agin .. I told told them to take the lip filler out. they wanted me to pay to take out weeks later I'm not paying for what they done wrong. I'd rather them take it out and not pay them or see them ever why pay if I don't even want it in there. My plans and vacation is already ruined I have use for injection now for them to take it and redo it and get a baby sitter agin ..they where rood mean threatening I don't trust them with my face ever I'd rather hide in my house tell it's gone. Any way they need take off the payment for the lip injection I don't mind paying for anything els on line where I never see there faces or have to get a sitter to see them or talk them. I tried and still can't resolve it. if I asked for b size boobs don't give me triple d boobs that like Malpractice. I had to get it out from someone els it's sad what I went through. And the plans I had to cancel that I can't get back . I know my body my face how it heals what I want to look like it not up to them to choose for me I'm paying

This client came in and got Botox and Dermal filler was completely content with her treatment. When she came to the front desk to pay he credit card got declined, she tried another card and that got declined as well. She then said that she would call and pay which completely caught us by surprise as the cost for Botox and filler is expensive and it would be a loss. We asked to keep her identification and she ran out of the office! Hence, we have tried numerous times to contact client for payment and she has not replied. She finally answered and spoke to the manager and said she was not happy and we right away said that she can come and see our provider for correction and that has nothing to do with her walking out and not paying for her services. Botox takes 2 week for optimal correction so how can she know that she is not happy when leaving the office and using that as an excuse not to pay. The same goes for dermal filler, after injection there is significant swelling. This client completely pulled a fast one and till this day has not paid for her services. We always invite our clients that are not happy back and make sure they are satisfied. You can not use not being happy for not paying for a treatment. It's like going to a restaurant eating and letting them know you will not be paying because u did not like their food. That is extremely unethical and corrupt. She is lucky we haven't pressed charges yet as we had given her the benefit of doubt in hopes that she would pay. We will be taking her court!
