      They stole out of our electronics box.***************** switch which was *************** $600 worth. The movers told me not to sign the insurance document. The mover said "it's not worth it, it doesn't cover anything anyway." I've been in claims for months, account manager is not returning our calls. We gave pictures of tampered boxes.

      Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/09/12) */ Hello, We apologize for the delay in response from our end. Mr. *******'s goods were picked up in ********* ** and delivered in ******* *** Mr. ******* moved a total 45 items and all the items were packed by Mr. ******* himself. The movers did not pack any of the boxes that Mr. ******* moved as there was no packing listed on the contract. It is our company policy that we do not open any of the boxes packed by the customer at any time during the move and the movers are not aware of the contents of the boxes. Mr. ******* has filed a claim for a missing ******************* and it is being processed by the booking company. Mr. ******* did sign for the basic liability insurance at the time of the pick up which covers any missing or damaged items for up 60 cents per pound. Once a settlement is reached between Mr. ******* and the booking company, we will pay the liability portion of the claim that gets assigned to *** *** Lines.

      I moved from Boston to California at the end of August and hired Colonial Van lines. Colonial Van Lines then outsourced the job to Cal Van Lines without my knowledge or consent. My furniture was delivered on September 8th. I soon discovered that there had been damage to every piece of furniture that I own. The damage ******** of ********** chipped wood and a broken foot on a bureau which has resulted in the bureau being unsteady and in need of repair. I had a restoration specialist come to my home to assess the damage and give me an estimate for the necessary repairs. The repairs will cost at least $1000. Cal Van Lines also neglected to deliver some of my property. After a week of playing phone tag with the customer service **************** I am beyond *********** I have been repeatedly told that someone would return my call to address the issue, but have never received a return call. I was told the missing items would be returned in 2 weeks.

      Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2022/12/06) */ Miss ******* moved from MA to CA in August 2021. After completing the delivery in Sacramento, CA, Miss ******* reached out to our office and advised that she was missing a Hamper and a Lamp Shade. Those two items were recovered and delivered back to Miss ******* in a timely manner. Miss ******* filed a claim for the damages and a settlement was reached based on the liability coverage Miss ******* chose at the time of the pick up.
