    I purchased a fountain pen manufactured by TWSBI from a licensed dealer less than one year ago. The pen cracked in several places within 6-8 months of purchase and several pieces of plastic broke off entirely. I contacted the retailer, who gave me the information for the company. When I wrote the company with photos and my proof of purchase the manager,*************, first insisted that a dog or cat must have eaten the pen. I said no, my dog died two months before I purchased it, and I didn't appreciate being accused of lying. The dialogue went back and forth with me insisting this had happened with ordinary use in a temperature controlled room and********* insisting that it would be impossible for the plastic to break in the manner it did with ordinary use. His only offer was for me to pay for replacement parts (at less than retail value) and shipping, $14 total. When I said the warranty info was not on their website and asked for written warranty information he stopped communicating entirely. I have since paid for the parts and shipping since otherwise the pen is trash. I have not yet received the parts but I believe I will as I have received a tracking number. I'm simply seeking a refund minus $4 shipping and/or the company placing on its website a written warranty policy so that in the future the manager can't simply accuse the purchaser of maltreatment of the product or of lying. ********** taking some online training on customer service would be an added bonus, or having a more customer-service oriented employee handle customer inquiries of this nature. Any or all of the above resolutions is fine with me. We're talking about $10 here. I was quite surprised to be accused of lying and that no information on the warranty policy was publicly available.
