On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 3:45pm, I brought in a roll of film to be developed. I explained to the woman who assisted me that I had not used my *********** camera in about 15 years and wanted to see if it still worked. I further explained that I am getting ready to go on a trip and would like to take pictures with the camera but that it depended on the quality of the pictures that the camera currently produces. She said she understood and gave me pointers on my f-stop settings. She explained that I would need to pay for the development of the pictures in advance and that they would be ready for pick-up on Friday afternoon, April 22. I paid $10.94 with my debit card for the development of the pictures. I called Friday afternoon to assure that the pictures were ready for pick-up, and I was told that they still had not arrived. On Saturday, April 23, I received a voice mail stating that my pictures were ready for pick-up. I went to pick up my pictures on Thursday, April 28, at approximately 12pm. ***** assisted me. I gave him my receipt and he handed me a box containing negatives. I asked him where my pictures were. He said that per the order, I only asked for the film to be developed. I explained how I needed to see the pictures because I need to know if the camera still works. I then explained how I am getting ready to take a trip and would like to take the camera, but only if it works. I explained that I had made this clear to the woman who assisted me when I initially dropped off the film. ***** was a bit dumbfounded and apologized. I asked to speak with the manager. He said he would get the owner. About five minutes later, ***** returned and said that the owner was on the phone and could not see me. He further stated that I could have my pictures printed for .50 cents a print. I thanked ***** for his help and professionalism and explained how I was disgusted with the lack of customer service skills by the owner.
