The store manager wouldn't return a guitar that didn't work I had a warranty on it was purchased two days prior and I was completely in my rights this is completely unprofessional business practices that were done against me over nothing and she broke her own stores policy on returns of defective items. Security came in and even didn't understand why she wouldn't do the return everyone was confused why she wouldn't give me The return as soon as Security came in she started making up lies that I was cussing at her and threatening her when I said one cuss word the entire time and it was directed towards the guitar I recorded the conversation just so everyone would know that I'm right and that she was lying and I was completely in my rights to doing that to explained in this exception for California law There are two huge exceptions built into this law. A recording otherwise in violation of the Wiretap Act is legal if one person to the conversation consents to the recording, or the person making the secret recording is authorized by law to do (18 U.S.C. § 2511.) In practice this means if person making recording is in conversation it's legal. The employee doesn't let you see it until you buy it so her claim is invalid and also I had to drive an hour to get to the place where I bought the guitar because I live in orange county Costa Mesa not Lakewood LA County. It cost me time and gas money and mental confusion and stress I just wanted return I was entitled to that I was denied due to managers ego and incompetence. She could not admit she was wrong and she kept saying over and over again that she was the one that inspected the guitar and all of this so she didn't want to admit she was wrong she didn't want to look bad in front of employees but the matter of The fact is she bought a bad guitar and sold it to me as new without letting me inspect it and denied my return even with 30 warranty still valid. Bought 12/15/21 tried return 12/17/21.
