I discovered this company's products in early 2024, buying 4 jars of their "Pearls" brand Castelvetrano olives, and finding them perfectly crisp, with that wonderful delicate buttery Castelvetrano flavor, and some of the best olives I've ever tried.Since then, I've bought 6 more jars of the same product, but the consistency of all the olives in all the jars was extremely mushy, reminiscent of overcooked, canned peas, and without any hint of the characteristic buttery Castelvetrano flavor. An olive, let alone a Castelvetrano, isn't supposed to be mushy like this. Unfortunately, it's impossible to tell (before buying and opening a jar) whether the olives inside are going to be crisp like they're supposed to, or exceptionally mushy. I kept hoping that I had just gotten an odd bad jar, but I've now struck out 6 times, at US$4.99 per jar. If the Musco company's supplier in ***** sent them a bad batch, they should probably exercise good quality control and sample them before sending them out to grocery stores to ensure they are of high quality, with crisp rather than mushy texture.Since the jars all say that this company's products' quality is guaranteed, I tried a half dozen times over a period of 3 or 4 months to reach a customer service person to report this inconsistent product quality, yet no human has ever answered the phone, nor responded to my detailed phone messages. How is it any type of guarantee if they don't respond to their customers?
