The incident occurred on Saturday, April 8 2023 at around 5:15 PM. My dog **** date of birth April 2019 was ran over and hit by a car. Unfortunately the car was a hit-and-run accident and we do not know of the person responsible for the accident, but the inconvenience occurs when **** was taken to the Tustana Hospital at around 5:43 PM and was neglected service by the hospital. The redirected me to a different animal Hospital because they had mentioned that they were closed but according to their online resources, their business hours are until 6 PM. My dog was still breathing when being taken and arriving to the hospital. While outside waiting with my dog, I called the hospital Tustana and asked if they were open and to see if they could attend my dog. They refused to take the dog in because they said they were closed but by law they should be open and remain open until 6 PM for any emergencies. After accepting to take me in at around 5:55 PM by the time you took my dog in the dog was pronounced dead. If my dog was taken in a few minutes prior or upon arrival, my dog couldve survived the accident. I am filing a report towards this animal hospital due to the medical negligence and inconvenience that our family experienced for the loss of our dog. A hospital share remain open during the announced and published business hours, and should not neglect any medical services during their open business hours. After announcing my dog dead, I have paid a cremation fee.The employee there was none of the best customer service, and was upset for taking in a patient last minute when she wanted to go home. No sympathy or apology was given from them in regards to the inconvenience and experience we had with this hospital.For the cremation a total of $134.54 was paid on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
