I would highly advise any small businesses to avoid working with this company. We were referred to this company by a friend and received a friends and family discount, which Ill get back to later. We hired with this company to do monthly bookkeeping and annual taxes. It wasnt until about a year into working with them that we started noticing something wasnt quite right, so we looked around for another accounting firm to assess our books. They informed us that our months were not reconciled, our books were a mess, and our annual taxes had been filed in such a way that wasnt financially beneficial to our company or us personally. We didnt recognize this or realize it at the time, because we trusted our accountants expertise and that they would do what was best for us. We ended our relationship at that time, and had to pay a new firm to clean up the mess. Not only that, but the new firms normal monthly and annual rates are a fraction of what Morrow and *** charged with a friends and family discount. And the new firm is transparent, communicative, and supportive. All things that Morrow and *** is not.There was only so much they could do retroactively without re-filing our taxes, so we ended up being out of a lot of money we could have saved.Morrow and *** expected us to pay in full at that time, without the friends and family discount. We disputed the amount based on the service we received and were ignored. We paid an amount that we were under the impression that we had agreed upon in order to settle the debt, which was a large sum of money. Then several months later we get a letter from a lawyer. They were suing us for the full amount.The work they did for us was disgraceful and its absolutely deplorable that they would *** a small business over an amount of money that they knew full well we couldnt afford to pay.
