I was referred to Dr. ****** for an extraction of #29 and dental implant consults for #29 and #30. #30 had been extracted early 2020 by another dentist. On 09/26/2022, I had my consultation with Dr. ******. He informed me the tooth roots were still in #30 and he needed to treat both #29 and #30. On 10/17/2022, I paid Dr. ****** $2868 and he performed the work. A week later I emailed the original doctor who had done the work on #30 and informed him what Dr. ****** said and demanded he make it right. This doctor is Dr. ***. Dr. *** reviewed the x-rays and called Dr. ******. Dr. ****** admitted that there was no infection or tooth roots in #30. The work he did was totally unnecessary. He called it “exploring”. On 11/01/2022, Dr. ****** removed my stitches. I am still having nerve pain from the unnecessary digging he did into my bone for imaginary tooth roots. Not only was the work unnecessary it was shoddy. His only answer for my mistake was to offer a credit for future work. I can not let a dishonest person continue to do work on me. I also put my refund request in writing in an email and was ignored. I have documentation of all of this and there is a paper trail. I will be filing a complaint with the state dental board and going even further than that. Please help me right this wrong.
