    On Nov 29 2023 I received this unsolicited email from Mountain Summit Financial (attached to complaint). I have no idea who this company is, nor have I ever dealt with them. The link in the email goes to an email address labeled "campaign". They are clearly running some sort of marketing campaign where they are sending out fake/false/scam emails to people they've never had contact with. I've also forwarded the email to the ****

    I received an email from this company stating that I had a loan with them. The account number for the loan is #********. The address they have listed on the email is an address I haven't lived at for over 6 years. Fortunately, it says it was paid in full. I tried calling customer service to find out information about this loan, but they said thy needed my SS#. I was not about to give it to them since I never took a loan out with them. The agent told me she could not access the account without it even though I gave her the account number. I'm assuming they do not do any kind of verification before providing loans, so I need to make sure they don't have any of my personal information on file to potentially create another fictitious loan. I did not fill out any loan documents and have verified with my bank that no monies have been deposited or debited to or from my account.
