      Ascend loans put $100 in my account without me knowing. I tired to call them and tell them I didnt apply for a loan and they talked a lot about nothing, so I just let the money sit and they been taking $140 out my account every week since July 15th. Thats 12 payments of $140 on $100 loan and my balance is $1009. Still more than I got. They said interest rate is 700%. That has to be illegal

      I took out a $500 loan and have paid back over $1200 which is over 100% interest. My balance is $488. This is highway robbery and illegal in the state of *******! I read they said they are a tribal lender but I believe this is false.

      I recently became a victim of identity theft, where someone fraudulently took out $1,000 in my name with Ascend Loans. Unfortunately, my experience with this lender has been frustrating and unnecessarily stressful due to their lack of proper safeguards, poor customer service, and absence of a dedicated fraud department.Upon contacting Ascend Loans to address the issue, one of their phone representatives was incredibly rude. She spoke to me in a dismissive tone, saying, "We already emailed you what we need from you." I had to remind her of several important points: 1) I am a **victim** of identity theft. 2) As a young adult in my 20s, *** never dealt with anything like this before and was seeking help. 3) I did **not** cause this issue, and she needed to speak to me with empathy instead of treating me like I was a nuisance for asking questions. While she did eventually apologize, the lack of professionalism and empathy during that ******* subsequent interactionsmade the situation much worse than it needed to be. Instead of being guided through a process to resolve this, I was left feeling frustrated and even more overwhelmed.Additionally, I was shocked to learn that Ascend Loans **does not have a fraud department** or even a single person dedicated to handling fraud oversight. Given the importance of preventing and addressing fraud, it's incredibly concerning that a lender would issue funds without adequate fraud prevention measures in place.The entire process has felt like a complete headache, with little support or guidance from Ascend Loans.       I took a loan of $900 out on 6/14/2024.I was NOT informed of the highway robbery of 700% interest!!!!!I have paid TO DATE $1,400!!!! WAY over the loan had even provided to me!!!I was in the mist of losing my HOUSE and was desperate and NOW cannot even afford to keep my utilities on BECAUSE of this highway robbery.My lawyer is in the works with contacting them now.

      I took out a loan during a family emergency in June. ASCEND takes out almost two hundred from my pay check every two weeks. The loan was for 750$. Its August and my balance is 739$ as of today. I recently had to cutmy work hours cut because of my mom's recent health issues. I tried to at least get some compromise on the interest but the agent just said no. This is predatory and a scam. I learned my ****** the hard way.

      Descend Loans is taking $442 monthly for a $1000 loan that it was provided for me. They higher super higher interests to the point that I already made 3 payments of $442 and I still owe them $1078, according to them I haven't be able to pay not even the interests of my $1000 loan. The worse is that this company did not let me know about the $442 monthly payments, they did not let me know that the monthy payments were going to be so high. The other issue is that they don't let me do anything in my online account, I can't change the due dates of my payments or the amount. The third thing is that it is impossible to communicate with this company because they never answer the phone.

      I contacted the company to obtain a loan. However I did not understand the terms of the loan and when I received the initial loan documents I was under the impression the total amount I was receiving was ***** not borrowing 500 and charged *****. That is not what the site said nor what the person I spoke to said. I don't think that is fair to charge and it seems very misleading! I would like help solving this because now they are saying I have to pay it.

      I have applied for a loan with Ascend Loans and all my personal information including bank account information and it said the laon went through. Following this my account was never credited the amount loaned and now i go back to check the Ascend self service portal and all of the loan information has been removed and is completely gone from the site. I am now unable to log into any banking information on my account. Would really appreciate this being noticed and am comcerned my account information is now compromised.
