Me and my husband applied to Quinn Crossing Apartments which is attached to this company. Once we submitted the application Quinn crossing rushed us to pay the fees. Stating so they could start the application process for the apartment we was applying to. Once we payed the money for my husbands application fee and the holding fee. They stated that they was going to cancel the application due to failure to provide proof of income. We stated in emails prior to this that my husband couldnt provide proof of income ( his LES) due to him being new to the military. Then when we received a call they asked me if I was employed and I told them I wasnt employed at the time. They told me even with what my husband was making, we wouldnt qualify with the information they had for BAH rates. As well as with general knowledge of my husbands base pay. After stating that we wouldnt qualify they told us that there was no reason to start processing the application. Then proceed to say I needed to pay the rest of the application fee for a application that wasnt even going to be processed. They have been emailing and calling me regarding the amount that they say I need to pay. They have even gone to the lengths of charging it to my credit. I feel as though they was trying to scam us because they knew we wasnt from ********** and we was PCSing. They kept harassing us to pay the fees needed to start the application process which would hold our apartment for us. Now they want us to pay fees that are from two in a half months ago (October) that we were told we didnt have to pay.
