I took my son who is 14 years old to the dentist 7/22/23 for a filling that was recently done and came off. I was there at 7:50am for a 8am appt. Once we checked in we waited 15minutes to be seen. Once we were in the room with dentist *************************** I asked what was being done today because the front desk clerk said 2 procedures were getting done. At the last appointment I was told just a repeat filling. When the dentist *************************** came in she seemed rushed. I asked her to confirm what was being done she immediately got defensive and said that it was a sealant I explained that I was told it was a filling that had fell off. She started putting numbing medicine in my child's mouth, she's continuing to work on my child and not given me an explanation on why I was told a filling and today she's saying sealant. I explained to the dentist that I didn't understand what was being done and that's all I wanted was to understand exactly what procedures were being done. After feeling disrespected i said to the dentist I was going to file a compliant. The dentist *************************** got up and said I have wasted to much time explaining to you I'm not going to continue the visit and left. This is after she put medicine in my child's mouth already. My sons was very scared because the dentist was very loud and rude and she put something in his mouth then refused to treat him. My child cried and said he never wants to go back to that dentist. After speaking with the front desk staff and explaining that my child has a visit and we did nothing wrong I just wanted to understand what was being done today. after 45 minutes the dentist returned and said if I wanted my son to be seen I had to wait. So we waited. The dentist only did the filling and when we left I was still confused because she said sealant but that wasn't done. I would like to be contacted by the business with an explanation of the behavior from *************************** as well as making sure we weren't charged for the visit.
