This email serves as a formal complaint against All About Floors in *********, **. I have been trying to work with them since installation in Feb 2021 to make needed repairs on the laminate flooring.

In Feb, we had floors installed. About a month later we noticed that boards were slipping causing gaps in the boards. We called multiple times over a few weeks and finally got someone out. They shifted the boards into place and glued down some of the boards. They also hammered down a nail that was sticking up from the carpet in one of the bedrooms.

About a month later, we had the same issue but in another part of the house. We called several times and they finally came out again, shifted boards into place, glued down some boards and had to replace a board that now had a chip in it.

Approximately another month goes by, and more boards have shifted. Same story with it taking a long time to get anyone to call/text back. Someone comes out, makes the repairs and says that they think something is wrong with the material as this has never happened. He says he will talk to the owner and doesn't take photos as we have advised that photos had already been sent previously when trying to get someone out.

We dont hear from anyone. I call the store and am told they will look into, say it maybe shotty installation and that they will call back. A few days later and no call. We call the store and are told that ******* ( whom I thought was the manager) just got back from vacation and would get back to me. Finally ******* gets back to me to tell me that hes been busy and that he will reach out to **** with the floor material company. He advises that if we dont get a call from **** by the following Tues to call him on Wed and we can pick new floors. **** finally calls that Tues and makes an appt to  come see the floors for Tues 8/10/21 at 11a. I also find out that ******* is the owner.

**** and ******* make the appt and **** advises that its not the material. He says that the floors were locked in with the baseboards so the floors have nowhere to flex. He advised that there were raised boards/ pocket in the kitchen which is cause the boards around to shift. ******* advises that they will work on a plan and get back to me. We have not heard anything since though we have both emailed and texted once a week. We had advised prior to the meeting and again in the meeting that this issue needed to be corrected, one, before I go back to work 9/7/21, and two, before our baby starts crawling ( shes almost there) as this is a hazard and is unsafe for her.

My 5 month maternity leave has been consumed with trying to get a resolution on the floors/ get them fixed.

I have emailed and texted *******. If we do talk or any correspondence I do, it is followed up by text/ email. I will send a follow-up email to this one with these emails.
