    On April 12, 2024, I ordered 3 (three) lens (I referred to them as globes to cover halogen bulbs on our lamps. I researched this item on line, and found this company sold globes specifically for our Holtkotter Leuchten. lamps. Weeks later, I put one on the lamp to replace a broken one. Moments after turning the lamp on, the globe melted & a terrifying fire broke out. I initially called the company & followed up with 5 emails (including photos ) , explaining what happened & asked why they would sell a polycarbonate lens that wasnt safe to cover a, halogen bulb. (original globes are glass) NO REPLY! Had we not been in the room & saw the flames (only minutes after turning on the lamp, we absolutely would have had a major fire! Attached is a small part of the email I sent the company Since you have ignored my emails, and obviously do NOT seem interested in the trauma caused by your merchandise, and almost caused a catastrophic fire in our homebecause of the bulb cover I purchased from you, I have no choice other than to REPORT your company to Consumer Affairs and post on my social media.I still may ask my lawyer to contact you.Shame on you!!!************************* ?Hello again,Do you not understand the severity of the problem your MISLABLED website created ????????? Hello,I am surprised you havent gotten in touch with me as yet ?Do you understand the MAJOR DISASTER that WOULD have happened, had my handyman not seen the flames shooting out of my lamp when he did ????????-?Hello *****,As per our conversation Wednesday , attached are photos of the lamp that was destroyed by a fire , caused by your lens. Please review with your management.In addition to the photos that show the melted lens & destroyed lamp, Ive included photos of another one of my identical lamps in my bedroom, as well as a photo of where the lamp was in my sons bedroom

    On May 2, 2022, I ordered an R Series 1 Light Outdoor Railroad Shade Gooseneck from AQ Lighting. The cost was $248.00. The specifications provided on the AQ Lighting website stated the light has a 200-watt maximum power rating. When I received the light I found it was rated for only 100 watts. I selected the railroad light, in part, because the higher power rating. The light was intended to be installed on my pier (dock) and I knew I needed quite a bit of light. When I tried to find 200-watt equivalent LED bulb, I discovered that none would fit in the globe. As a result, I had to use a 100-watt equivalent bulb. A 100-watt bulb does provide a sufficient amount of light.

    In contacted AQ Customer Service and asked if I could get (or purchase) a clear globe that fits the light, hoping that the clear bulb should throw more light. I also asked if they had 200-watt equivalent bulb that **** fit inside the globe of my light. Customer Service said they had a clear globe and a 150-watt equivalent bulb that was supposed to be compatible with the railroad light. They also said I would have to pay for both, including shipping. The cost was another $70. Later they called and advised that the clear globes were out of stock and they couldn't specify when it would be available. They also stated that because they didn't have access to the light of the bulb they couldn't guarantee it would fit the light. When it arrived, it was far to large to fit in the globe.

    Once again I contacted Customer Service, they now tell me that they **** accept the return but I would have to pay the cost of the return shipping. I believe all these problems arise from the company misrepresenting the specifications of their products. I'm now stuck with a light that doesn't meet my needs, and all AQ is interested in is getting more of my money. Don't Trust This Company!
