I began corresponding with CHD Studio in June of 2020. After a consultation, ******************************* (CHD Studio) was paid $1926.00 via Venmo. This payment was 50% of the total **** ($3852.73). Per CHD policy, %50 is paid up front to start the work. The next %25 is due at the fitting and the remaining %25 is due at completion. This payment was to ensure that CHD Studio would produce a Staple Collection. The Staple Collection consisted of 5 fashion pieces (toddler shirt, jeans, jacket, overalls, and knit item), patterns, pattern maker's services, and adjustments. Our business relationship had been going well until April 2021. CHD Studio stopped communication and has not been responsive to any of my many attempts to resolve this matter. I have sent numerous emails and text messages. I have left many notes at the studio. I have made attempts via social media ********* and Instagram). I have left voice mail messages. This business has not responded at all. I requested to dissolve the relationship if the studio cannot produce the products that have been paid for. In addition to the deposit that was paid, *********************** also has fabrics and hardware that were purchased for this project. If the studio cannot or is unwilling to complete the work, then I would pursue a refund and the safe return of the materials.In our last conversation (April 22, 2021), I was informed by *********************** that she would be done with the project by June 15th, 2021. *********************** advised in her email that she would follow up with this writer (Ralecia Marks) on Monday April 26th, 2021 via phone but that never happened.
