In Feb '21, I paid ******************* ********* to address issues identified in my home's inspection report: Permanently remove the damper valve plate from the throat / Remove ******* units ******** from the top of the back firewall as needed and determined by the technician, reset any bricks removed after the repair is completed. / ***** coat application to the smoke chamber with approved ********** materials ******** warranty) / Repack the flue tile liner joints with ********** refractory cement ******** warranty) / ********* the exterior mortar as needed and determined by the technician / ********* the firebox with approved fire rated materials / Seal **** at front face with approved materials / Furnish and install a black metal 4" smoke guard / Resurface the termination crown/wash with approved materials / Furnish and install a standard black metal termination safety ********* ******** *********** / Furnish and install a new universal top mount damper I sold my house in Oct '22, when 2 different inspection reports came back with the same issues that I thought were addressed in '21. When I called ** to rectify this problem, they told me they couldn't send someone out right away, but then someone showed up to my house with no notice. That person told me that they would rectify the issues. Once we heard this, we told the buyers of our house (who tried to get money from us for this work) that we would have it done before we moved out. I later found out that ** wasn't even aware this person came to my house. They then sent me a quote for ********** After much back and forth, they sent me a quote for ********* for the following work (notice the overlap with ****** Remove ******* units (bricks) from the top of the back firewall as needed and determined by the technician to access the smoke chamber for repairs, and reset any bricks removed after the repair is completed. / ***** smoke chamber with approved fire-rated materials / Furnish and install a black metal 6-inch smoke guard / Furnish and install a damper clamp. I was told the CEO was dictating the pricing, yet I couldn't get him on the phone. I left numerous messages with their offsite coordinators and I'm still waiting for my call to be returned, over a month later. Since the work wasn't done by the time I moved, I had to give the buyers of my home ****** to get the work done. I am now out ********** and I also lived in that house for over a year with a ******** with safety issues that I thought were addressed based on what ******************* told me. I would like for ** to refund me that **********
