CAINE & WEINER (C&W) opened on November 6, 2023, Account number ********. C&W continues to try to extort monies from me when no monies are due. They're attempting to collect on an alleged debt. I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE of the account or any purchases on the account. I have reported this to the appropriate authorities, & the **** as fraudulent and Identity Theft. I have never done business with them and not sure how they even got my personal information. I contacted *******************, CEO, by way of Affidavit sent Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested with an Affidavit of Mailing. They've obtained my information by way of Identity Theft, O.C.G.A 16-9-121. Punishing me for non-repayment of an alleged debt by extortionate means by furnishing nonpublic information to third parties without my consent is a violation of 18 U.S. Code 894 and 20yrs in prison. I've requested verification of the debt in the manner of an Affidavit, whereby one has first hand knowledge of the alleged transactions, and swears to the truth under penalty of perjury that I indeed owe them money. They've failed to rebut the Affidavit point for point. No such documentation exists from Caine & Weiner. I hired *******************************,Witness, Notary **************** of the State of Georgia, who is not in receipt of any Sworn nor Commercial Affidavit that would substantiate any of their claims. In accordance with law, ONLY sworn affidavits, oaths, and depositions qualify as a verification of the lawful existence of a debt. For their convenience, an Affidavit has been included so that an agent authorized to accept full commercial liability & with the power to bind their organization, i.e. *******************, CEO, may sign and return said Affidavit to the Notary Public mentioned herein to demonstrate an act of good faith. Verification is defined (Blacks Law Dict. 6th **** as Confirmation of correctness, truth, or authenticity, by affidavit, oath, or deposition. FORM LETTERS WITHOUT SIGNATURES, WILL BE TREATED AS JUNK MAIL.Business response

We completed our investigation of this complaint and closed this account in our office. We will send a request to the credit reporting agencies to have this account removed from the consumers credit report. This request may take up to 45 days to be reflected on the consumers credit report.Customer response

I am writing to formally dispute the alleged debt referenced in recent communications from Progressive and CAINE & WEINER. I assert that I am not liable for this debt with Progressive. Additionally, I have no contract with CAINE & WEINER, and they have failed to provide the original contract as requested.Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), I have the following rights:Verification of Debt:Under 15 U.S.C. 1692g(b), I request that CAINE & WEINER provide verification of this debt, including a copy of the original contract with Progressive.Accuracy of Information:Under 15 U.S.C. 1681i, I dispute the validity of this debt and request an investigation to verify its accuracy.
