regions promised to refinance my home 100 percent guaranteed I paid them $1500 check and they I haven't heard anything from them they will not answer the phone and if they do they hang up on me if they are not going to provide the services they promised then I want my money back.Initial Complaint

I was contact by region home advisory to refinance my home at lower interest rate I had to give him $1500 for a home appraisal escrow account. I did. I mailed him a check its been cashed and I cannot get a hold of him at all. He will not return my calls I think Ive been scammed, other people scam I need help what should I do?Initial Complaint

I was contacted by ************************* on or about 3/1/2024. He presented a mortgage refinance plan called "The American Rescue" plan. I emailed him my Financials and he emailed me a contract offering 3.99% apr on a 30yr fixed. The contract appeared legitimate and he requested $1500 for title search, appraisal, and escrow fees. Contract stated I would be refunded my money if they were unable to secure a loan. I sent him a $1500 certified check to above address. Everything appeared to be moving along as promised. I called him on 4/8 and he called me back around 9 a.m. California time. He told me he would call me back within 15 mins. He has never called and will not answer after multiple calls every day since. After researching above address, I have discovered that address is a ********************** and the manager there (******), informed me that address is linked to a P.O. Box and they are closing that box due to suspicion of fraud because there have been several people complain that they sent money to that address and had their money stolen also. I have tried numerous times to contact ************************* to no avail. Certified check #****** has been cashed and all return contact from ************************* has ceased. I am certain that I have been scammed out of $1500 along with countless other victims and any assistance would be greatly appreciated
