The manager of the company, ******, came to my home due a bathroom flood. Without taking any photos or looking at any of my pipes, he told me that I had to pay $7,000 for repairs because he said that their were tree roots in my septic tank causing the pipes to clog. He twisted my arm and forced me to give him a check for $1,000 to hold my spot for the following morning. He insisted that this must be done within 24 hours as he said the house would flood. He then sent a restoration company to my home. The man said that we needed about $8,000 in restoration services. There was NOTHING that needed to be restored. I called a second plumber right away. He actually opened up the septic tank and took photos and there were no roots blocking the pipes. Additionally, I contacted ****** Plumbing who takes care of our septic tank. They came out the following day and verified that the septic tank was fine and there were no blockages. Nation Side Plumbing lied to me, cohersed me to sign a contract and would not even wait for my husband to get home. I called the company that evening and told the answering service that we had another plumber come out and would not be using Nation Side and that nothing was wrong with our pipes. I have contacted Nation Side seven times. ******, who is the manager (or so he claims to be) told me he would not refund me my $1,000 and when I asked him for a copy of the estimate, he refused to send it to me.

On November 22nd, 2022 I reported to my home insurance provider that I was experiencing a leak in my kitchen with water accumulating under the tiles. It was unknown at the time where the source of the leak was. A remediation team was sent out called Servepro but I was notified that I would need to have a plumber come out to locate the source. I was assigned Nation Side Plumbing and upon arrival, the plumber stated to me directly that the leak was a slab leak and would take extensive work to repair. After he left without any further investigation, I received a call from Old Republic Home Protection stating to me that they were advised by Nation Side that the waterline behind the washer/dryer needed to be replaced and that they determined that to be the source of the leak. I notified them that there was no indication of any water coming from that area of the kitchen and that I did not believe that this would resolve the issue. Still, the plumber insisted that it would and stated that they used their equipment to locate the source. I was notified that the cost was above my insurance coverage and that I would need to pay them $375 out of pocket. I left $400 for them to collect and they completed the work. I texted a photo of the completed repair but came home to find that there had been no change in the water accumulation. I immediately notified them of this and only upon our 2nd remediation team's accidental discovery of the water coming from behind the fridge, did Nation Side return to address the actual source. After doing so I requested to be reimbursed for the $400 that was paid out of pocket for the unnecessary work (they didn't provide any change, nor a receipt). I was told that there were 2 separate issues that were completely untrue. I ceased communication at that time as it was clear that they were not going to show any professionalism or integrity and I continued on to address the over $40,000 in kitchen repairs due to their failure to source the leak.

Nation side plumbing was contracted through our home warranty company First American Home Warranty. They were rude to my wife when I was not there and proceeded to break my faucet in my master bathroom. Apparently they thought they needed to remove the sink stopper to replace a cartridge on the hot water side, upon doing so they snapped in half the lift rod for the stopper. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they put the lift rod back in place to appear as if it was normal and in tact. They used a pair of vice grips on the cartridge housing when replacing the cartridge itself and left very apparent gouges in the finished housing. After finding the issues and calling the companies main number I was instructed to call the manager "******", who was the individual that broke my faucet in the first place! After discussing with ****** the issues that were now present ************************** ****** proceeded to try an belittle myself and my wife and explained that I must have broken it and he had no reason to touch the lift rod as all he was there to do is replace the cartridge. My wife informed me at one point they had called her into the bathroom to show her the hair they pulled from the drain and she informed them we had just moved into the house and the sink they pulled the hair out of was my sink and not even hers. They proceeded to tell her not to put hair down the sink and put everything back together. To get to a point where you are pulling hair from the sink drain, the stopper needs to be removed so******** argument of not touching the stopper or lift rod went right out the window and I told him this. After all was said and done *********************************************** I have had ZERO luck disputing this with my home warranty company and am quite frustrated with the situation.
