Work with the company at your own risk. The people who run this business and any business associated are extremely dishonest and engage in immoral business practices like lying to customers and advertisers about print circulation and subscription numbers.

For years they claimed to be a quarterly magazine (4 issues per year) and yet have only put out one magazine per year for almost a decade while taking contracts from advertisers and subscribers for multiple issues at a time. Instead of letting them know exact dates for printing, shipping, etc they constantly lie in order to convince others to spend money with them often full well knowing the dates they are giving are not true.

On top of their dishonesty, they are notorious for not paying photographers and contributors to the magazine, often choosing to pay a select few and then completely ghosting the other people who contributed.

I personally experienced mental, emotional and physical abuse from the people who run at this magazine while interning. They never paid me a single cent in three years because they provided me housing and meals. in exchange, yet the owner of the business felt this entitled her to control every aspect of my life. Whatever you do DO NOT LIVE WITH THESE PEOPLE IN EXCHANGE FOR WORK THEY WILL ABUSE THE SITUATION AND YOU.

They deleted or removed my by-line from every single piece of work I have ever contributed and made it so I had no evidence of my contributions in order to hinder my working prospects elsewhere.

All around BAD experience working with these people.
