On Feruary 24, 2024, I sent the complaint below to Real Good Foods. "I just purchased 2 bags of Real Good Foods Light and Crispy Breaded Pollack Fish Fillets. When opening both bags, I was disappointed to see that everything was in pieces. There were only about 3 whole fillets in each bag, the rest were all broken into small pieces." "So, I put the pieces together the best I could since some were very small, and baked them per the instructions on the bag. The cutlets were not very crispy, also the breading was very bland and needed a lot of seasoning." I told them I was not happy with the product. I received the following reply: " Ellie Perico (Real Good Foods) Feb 27, 2024, 00:37 MST "Hello! So sorry to hear about this as that’s definitely not the quality you should expect! We’d love to make it right for you & also want to prevent it from happening again. I will also add that we make our strips and fish sticks from whole Fish versus processed or shredded fish so this does affect portion and serving size. Some will be larger than others meaning there will be less quantity per serving. I’d love to send free product coupons to pick up a few extra meals on us! I’ll send 4-5 so you’ll get $40-50 in free meals. Each coupon is good for up to $10. I’d just need a full name and the best mailing address to send to." I sent my address and never received the coupons. I received numerous emails telling me that the SKU numbers were changed causing new coupons to be delayed. They requested my address 3 times and still nothing after 2 months. I was disappointed with the product, but also with the way the situation was handled by this company. So far, I have not received the coupons that were promised, just excuses.
