Manager claimed I never paid and didn't allow me to check in after 3:00pm but sure took my money on my card. Manager literally flipped me off and claimed CASH ONLY although ONLINE it says they Don't accept cash. She was so rude and I missed my whole event because she said I NEVER paid. Therefore left me on the streets for the night. Needs to be shut down!Initial Complaint

On October 1st I went to the office to check in. It all started bad. The woman was extremely rude. This hotel was disgusting!!!!! It was filthy! The bathroom was not clean. Someone else's hair was all over the bathtub There was dirt on all of the doors, stains on the walls and bedspread. The room has a smell of cigarettes. Homeless people hang in the parking lot and looking thru the windows. The walls are dirty the wallpapers peeling off. The curtains were torn with a big hole so obviously no privacy. It didn't feel safe. I asked for my money back and she refused.Business response

Sir, THe complaint is false and mischievous to extract money. THey had checked-in the room, which was properly cleaned by experienced house keeping staff and initially ho deficiency brought to our notice. However, they were group of people and two other rooms booked by their friends were declined entry as their bookings were cancelled due to invalid cards and they provked them also to leave the place and go somewhere else. THe bookings made cannot be cancelled or refunded within 48 hours of the arrival time and have to pay penalty of one night charges. The motel was full and no other customer had any problem.AS such, nothing is refundable to them for the one night booking. Thanks and assuring you of our best cooperation.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
They are not being honest. We walked in at it was so nasty. There is no way we were going to stay there in this disgusting motel. It had nothing to do with anything but an unsafe and unhealthy environment. WeThis motel needs to be inspected by the Code Enforcement and trust me I am going to file a report to have them inspect and fine these owners.

She has again been making dishonest and false comments. Motel was properly cleaned including all rooms and every rom was full. If it was disgusting, why would other guests would stay. It shows her poor and depraved state of mind. WE shall not make any refund to the customer despite threats due to false allegations.Initial Complaint

Bed bugs !!! Wouldn't give me a refund !Business response

The lady is making false complaint after having stayed in the room for over five hours. There is no bed bugs problem in our motel and the regular inspection is made by a reputed professional firm " ORKINS". She may have some food allergy. Even the cops visited after she left and found nothing. Yesterday an official from Ventura county on her complaint visited and thoroughly inspected the room and found no bed bugs & found the complaint to be false.As such no refund is required and no further action needed.ThanksManager
