Bought a clutch for a car I own in July of 2022 and wasnt installed until January because car is only driven maybe **** miles a year a true show car. Buying figuring clutch would hold up to wear and tear if just small and minimal use being above own spec. Installed a stage 3 XTD clutch. Clutch failed on Saturday June 10, 2023, less than 900 miles on clutch from install was not in my opinion even broken in. Sitting in traffic and pulling out in traffic it Grenaded bell housing casuing pressure plate to explode into pieces and fly apart. Not only did the clutch fail Airbag Sensor on floor and airbags on drivers side went off from sudden stop and prices if metal penetrating the floor of the car on both sides. Contacted customer support and they said only 6 months warranty from purchase and everyone in mechanics world knows warranty does not start until product is installed and working. They basically have told me its 6 months from purchase and refuse to show me the warranty information. They do not have any warranty information on there website and refuse to devulge any information regarding warranty. So Im out roughly ****. Needs new a transmission from Bell Housing exploding from pressure plate, new clutch, new flywheel, new exhaust down pipe ripping holes in it from pieces flying apart, new rear engine housing from bolt snapping off block, new apron air bag and new seat airbag that deployed. This business should be shut down for this. The product they provide is dangerous and could kill someones from the faulty equipment. I have read over 20 other same issues causing there transmissions and bellhousing exploding in prices due to failure of pressure plate failing.

Do not buy anything they offer. I am a local mechanic. Installed this for the customer car had 88 miles on it before the whole clutch system failed. Leaving a tow back to the shop and a complete do over on the entire job. Currently opening a case with them through eBay. So far total damage and loss is over $631 dollars. Customer serviceman (Jim) thinks he can just send me a new clutch and call it even. This place is an absolute joke.

On April 26, 2021 I purchased a HD flywheel and clutch kit for my 2006 Mustang GT from XTD/Aimco Clutch Co. I had it professionally installed at Precision Auto Care in Palmdale, CA on April 29th. Shortly after the clutch system failed due to manufacture defect (while under 500 mile break in and a month in on a 6 month warranty) It's only September! I've still got a month warranty left and I can not get a hold of any one at XTD/Aimco for a refund or return. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! Horrible customer service, cheap over seas products...
