My family and I applied for these apartments on 9/28/2023 and we paid $350.00 to submit an application , $150.00 went towards the three people applying for the apartment and $200.00 went to hold the apartment we selected, the $200.00 is refundable but the $150.00 they are saying is not refundable, this apartment complex was very unprofessional with helping us they never even started to process our application after saying they did numerous times , I was emailing them every day since 9/28/2023 and first they said they were verifying our information to see if we would get approved for the apartment then a few days later they said they hadnt even verified anything or even started to verify anything because they were trying to figure out their new system update and the assistant manager ****** needed to talk to her manager to see how they could fix our application and move my grandfather from the primary applicant to the co-signer (which is true) I have emails verifying all this from them saying oh were working on it to them saying they havent even done anything because they cant figure out their new system also the calls were recorded on their end. My husband and I were sending out emails for updates and we were getting ignored and they werent informing us of anything we were told it takes 48 hours to get an approval or denial and this took longer than 72 hours with no update or answer, we finally canceled our application I spoke with the manager of the apartment complex ************************* and told her what was going on she told me we can get our $200.00 back but not the $150.00 she also told me her supervisor ***** would be reaching out within 24 hours which she never did. We were told it takes 21 days to receive the $200.00 and that was on 10/04/2023 we were told we cant get the $150.00 back its non refundable because once the application is sent they start working on it. We want a full refund of the $350 because they never started anything !
