      We purchased the refrigerator on 6/22/24, as is. The fridge was delivered on 6/24/24 at 1:00pm and was plugged in by the delivery guys, but by 5:00am on 6/25/24, the fridge was not working. Freezer items were ruined and fridge was warm. We called FHD and were told that we bought the fridge as is, which is true, however, we expected it to work for longer than 16 hours. The manager **** was rude and just basically said we bought as is, it was plugged in the store for 3 days with no issues (why was it plugged in, no other fridges are plugged in), but he would contact us if the other manager felt they could do something for us. We are return customers and this is not only unprofessional but disheartening to know their customer service is so horrible for just $185.00.

      Thank you for your time.  I have uploaded the receipt and again, I understand the "as is", but the refrigerator was dead within 16 hours.  We have contacted FHD with negative responses and had a repairman come out to diagnose the fridge and stated there is no gas in the fridge and the fan is broken.  The repairs are approx $125 at this point.

      Good evening, this letter is responding to the complaint. The customers were aware that it was not a new unit but a used/return unit therefore the price was low and sold as is. Yes, that ****** was plugged in for 3 days and working perfectly fine as well as our other refrigerators that we also have plugged in. Her statement that our other refrigerators were not plugged in is false. Also would like to state that the customers were also told no warranty was offered.

       I am rejecting this response because:  I don't accept the response due to the fact that we had the refrigerator for 16 hours and it stopped working.  We had a repairman come out and he was very familiar with FHD and the fact that they sell appliances that they know are not working and then do nothing to assist. I understood there was no warranty, but out of good faith, I thought FHD would do something seen as we had not had the fridge for very long before it stopped working.  Apparently, there was no Freon in the unit nor was the fan working, so $145 later, the fridge now works.  I just want it to be known that customers should be able to trust where they purchase appliances from especially when people like us do not have a lot of money to spend and we were returning customers as we thought FHD was true to their customer base.  I honestly didn't expect FHD to make this purchase right, but I hope it will help others to not buy from them as they are not honest in what they sell.  We were also told we would receive a call back from a manager in which that never happened, so again, very poor customer service and we will not recommend FHD to anyone.
